Shopify Rebellion Is One Game Away From Qualifying for DreamLeague Season 22

Shopify Rebellion seems to be back with new found motivation as it is currently undefeated at the DreamLeague Season 22 North American closed qualifier.
The final qualifying game could be between Shopify Rebellion and nouns or Yangzhiganlu on 16th January.

North American (NA) esports organization Shopify Rebellion has managed to secure a spot at the qualifying game of the DreamLeague Season 22 North America closed qualifier. What’s more impressive is that Shopify Rebellion is currently undefeated in the qualifiers and it is currently waiting to play the last series. On its way towards the qualifying match Shopify downed teams like Fart Studios, nouns, and Yangzhiganlu.

Earlier, Shopify’s failure to qualify for the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai received a lot of criticism from its fans and community. Now the question that remains is whether Shopify will be able to turn its luck around at the DreamLeague Season 22.

Shopify Rebellion Makes it to The Final Series of DreamLeague Season 22 Qualifier

After a disheartening knockout from BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai NA & SA closed qualifier, Shopify Rebellion is seemingly back with a newfound motivation to secure its spot at the DreamLeague Season 22. Shopify Rebellion has turned many heads in the community after winning three back-to-back series at the qualifier and by making it to the qualifying series. Notably, Shopify even got its revenge on nouns as it repaid the favor from the BetBoom Dacha 2024 closed qualifier.

In its first series against Fart Studios, Shopify Rebellion dominated both games one and two and advanced a step further toward its goal where it faced nouns. Given that Shopify was previously knocked down to the lower bracket by nouns at the BetBoom Dacha 2024 qualifiers, it was uncertain whether it could beat nouns. But Shopify Rebellion managed to turn game one of the upper bracket semis in its favor after several impressive team fights from Shopfiy Rebellion which eventually led to its victory.

During game 2 Shopify seemed to have cracked the code and played cohesively. Shopify’s Erin Jasper "Yopaj" Ferrer on Pangolier, Jonáš "SabeRLight-" Volek on Dark Seer, and Kartik "Kitrak" Rathi on Enchantress had a massive impact on the game which eventually snowballed into a victory.

In its most recent series — the upper bracket finals — against Yangzhiganlu, Shopify Rebellion very evidently had the upper hand as it dominated both games one and two to secure its spot in the qualifying game.

Shopify Rebellion is one of the teams that's at the center of the Dota 2 community’s attention, thanks to it boasting players like Artour "Arteezy" Babaev on its roster. It is also infamous for having Kanishka "BuLba" Sosale as its coach, who is ridiculed by the Dota 2 community any time Shopify Rebellion faces a loss.

Now, with Shopify Rebellion poised comfortably at the final game of the closed qualifier, the only question that looms large is whether it will manage to secure the sole NA region spot for the DreamLeague Season 22 main event and be able to prove itself to the community. The results of the closed qualifier can be expected by 16th January.
