After getting beaten 2-0 by OG, TSM has lost its sixth game in a row in the Riyadh Masters 2022 and has been eliminated it from the competition. In the final series of the group stage for the two teams, OG had its top seed on the line while TSM had to fight for survival.

The first game saw TSM have a promising start, but OG's ability to fight its way out of a tight position sealed its victory. TSM was already eliminated after the first game and got stomped on all fronts in the second game and conceded the second game in 28 minutes. On the other hand, Team Liquid is the second team eliminated from Group A of the Riyadh Masters 2022.

OG vs TSM: Match recap and highlights

In game 1, the lanes were rather close, despite the fact that TSM appeared to be ahead. Timado reaped the biggest benefits during the laning stage, as TSM's tri-lane was critical to protecting his farm against ATF's Viper. TSM took a 4k advantage after a vital teamfight win at the 20-minute mark. The team's timing was superior at the time, and OG, sensing this, sought on acquiring farm on its cores. When the teamfights resumed after a brief period of inactivity, OG simply proved to be the superior team. Bzm was terrific as he expertly ruined TSM's execution. Yuragi, who had a difficult start, also came back strongly. OG's flawless teamfight play helped the team win in 46 minutes.

In game 2, OG gained an advantage in the drafting round by selecting heroes who performed well against the opponent's heroes. When it came to micro plays, OG was head and shoulders above TSM in all three lanes. The team's moves were also superior as TSM began to crumble, resulting in a slew of kills. Bzm was once again at his best, dominating Bryle and the rest of TSM to lead his side to a 28-minute victory.

Here are some highlights of the series.

Since forming last November, OG has shown no signs of slowing down, with a relatively young squad putting forth one fantastic performance after another and winning game after game. There have been brief moments when it appeared if OG had finally dropped the ball, such as the back-to-back series losses versus Liquid at the conclusion of Tour 3, but this is not the case. The team has performed admirably thus far in the Riyadh Masters and has clinched the top slot in Group A, which takes it directly to the semifinals of the Riyadh Masters 2022.

Following the team's first series win against Team Liquid in the Riyadh Masters 2022, TSM showed signs of regaining form, but its performance deteriorated as the tournament progressed. Since TSM took second place at the ESL One Stockholm Major in May, it hasn't done too well. Although the team has looked competitive at times, it has failed to hold on during crucial moments.

While The International 11 (TI11) is still a long way away, the squad will want to stay in good form in the months running up to it and as such, go back to the drawing board and rethink its strategies.
