On 23rd January, Gaimin Gladiators’ Quinn “Quinn” Callahan reached the 13K MMR (Matchmaking Rating) milestone and shared a screenshot of his achievement on X (formerly Twitter). Earlier this week Quinn surpassed Entity’s Alimzhan "watson" Islambekov and claimed the Rank 1 spot on the Dota 2 leaderboards. This impressive feat is a testament to Quinn’s skills as an individual player aside from being one of the best Dota 2 pros.

Ladies and gentlemen, we got em,” Quinn tweeted, sharing a screenshot of his MMR with his fans and followers. Notably, according to Dota2protracker.com, the Gaimin Gladiators mid boasts an impressive 61.1% win rate over the last 54 games played.

Hailing from the North American region, Quinn represents the region in the Dota 2 European leaderboards. Although this impressive feat of reaching the 13K MMR was secured by Quinn, he now seems to be in a see-saw with watson for the rank 1 position on the Dota 2 leaderboards. Entity’s watson, who is the third person in Dota 2 to reach the 13K MMR has reclaimed his rank 1 spot on the leaderboards. Earlier, watson was trading places with Virtus.pro’s Ilya "Kiritych" Ulyanov and ultimately emerged on top.

The question now remains, will watson be able to keep his rank 1 spot, or will Quinn snatch the throne once again from Entity’s carry?

Aside from his personal achievements, Quinn’s team Gaimin Gladiators is playing at the upcoming BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai. The offline tournament which will be held in Dubai boasts an impressive $1 Million prize pool and starts on 4th Feburary. This tournament will be the first for Gaimin Gladiators and it will be looking to bring its A-game to the table.

Gaimin Gladiators had a disappointing end to 2023 even though it won most of the tournaments during the year. Azure Ray reverse swept Gaimin Gladiators at the finals of the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 to claim the title denying Gaimin Gladiators the victory.

Stay tuned for further updates on Quinn’s MMR progression and the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai match updates.
