During a recent Twitch livestream, former Team Liquid midlaner Max "qojqva" Bröcker discussed the micro control of three of Dota 2's biggest players - Johan "N0tail" Sundstein, Clement "Puppey" Ivanov, and Kuro "KuroKy" Salehi Takhasomi.
According to qojqva, N0tail's micro control was the best. He used Chen as an example to illustrate that while Puppey and KuroKy sometimes mismanaged the units, N0tail always did a great job.
While Puppey continues to lead Team Secret's Dota 2 squad and KuroKy continues to lead Team Nigma, N0tail took at least one year off from competitive Dota 2 beginning in November 2021.

Among the best Dota 2 players of all time, Johan "N0tail" Sundstein, Clement "Puppey" Ivanov, and Kuro "KuroKy" Salehi Takhasomi have distinguished themselves throughout the years for both their individual talents and leadership roles. As a result, there have been many comparisons between these three players in the past, and in a recent Twitch livestream, former Team Liquid midlaner and current livestreamer, Max "qojqva" Bröcker described the micro control differences between N0tail, KuroKy, and Puppey. Using Chen as an example, qojqva stated that N0tail was superior in micro control to both Puppey and KuroKy.

In addition to Dota 2's strategic and team-based nature, the game also demands strong mechanical skills and micro control. In a recent Twitch livestream, qojqva, as a very micro-heavy player who specializes in heroes like Lone Druid and Broodmother, was asked who he thought was the "best micro heavy pro" in Dota 2.

In his remarks, qojqva cited N0tail and Tundra Esports' offlaner Neta "33" Shapira as two players who were particularly adept at moving their non-hero units. “I think N0tail’s micro is really good. N0tail’s Chen micro was really really nice like - his creep control was really really good. I think 33’s micro is really good. Other than that I am not sure.”

Qojqva added that it might be an unpopular point of view, but Puppey and KuroKy, despite their good micro ability, sometimes fail to manage their units on a hero like Chen, which did not happen with N0tail.

“To be honest - a hot take maybe but Puppey and Kuro’s minion control on Chen - I don’t wanna lean too far out of the window but they sometimes run in with the hero instead of the creeps and vice versa. So, yeah it’s good but N0tail’s was really really good. It is what it is.”

While Puppey continues to captain Team Secret's Dota 2 squad and KuroKy still leads Team Nigma’s roster, N0tail has been on a break from competitive Dota 2 for at least one year since November 2021, while assuming a mentorship role with the new OG roster. Over the years, all three players have achieved considerable success with multiple significant tournament victories. N0tail stands out as the most successful with two TI (The International) wins, while Puppey and KuroKy each have one TI victory to their name.

While N0tail mentors the new OG roster, Puppey and KuroKy will soon be playing in the WEU (Western Europe) Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021-22 Tour 2: Division 1, starting 15th March. The WEU DPC has DPC points and a Major spot on the line.
