Captain of Tundra Esports, Pure expressed gratitude to fans in a post-match interview at ESL One Birmingham 2024.
Tundra Esports secured a commendable third-place finish at ESL One Birmingham 2024 despite facing multiple roster controversies and challenges.
Despite putting up a reasonably good performance at the tournament, ATF from Team Falcons was completely oblivious to their struggle and told Pure to go home.

The Dota 2 community bore witness to Team Falcons winning ESL One Birmingham 2024. They dominated the grand finale and managed to win with a clean sweep against BetBoom Team following a quick best-of-five series, which lasted only three matches.

However, amidst this spotlight of success, Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko from Tundra Esports, delivered a heartfelt message to all their fans and supporters, thanking them for their unwavering support following its exit from the tournament.

At the tournament, Tundra managed to showcase the utmost high level of Dota 2 gameplay resulting in a third-place finish, successfully securing $120,000 USD in prize money and 4,000 EPT (ESL Pro Tour) Points.

Pure Delivers a Message to Fans as Tundra Finish Third at ESL One Birmingham 2024

Following the heartbreaking 0-2 series defeat against Team Falcons in the lower bracket final, Pure took the opportunity during the post-game interview to deliver a heartfelt message to all their fans and thank them for their unwavering support.

Talking to the tournament’s sideline reporter, Ted "PyrionFlax" Forsyth, Pure said, “We’re a new team guys. Honestly, it’s our first LAN tournament as five players. So, we also changed our main player not that long ago. I think it’s a really good performance from us. Thanks for your support guys. We really tried our best. Even though it didn’t look like we tried our best, we tried our best. They [Team Falcons] are just better.”

In the aftermath of The International 2023, Tundra Esports underwent several significant roster changes and after much rework, it finally found a stable roster for its Dota 2 division.

However, as things seemed smooth sailing for the team, a major controversy struck this newly formed roster as MinD_ContRoL put forth allegations of unjust treatment, which was later resolved.

This, however, left the team without an offlane player and the team had to resort to playing with substitutes for various tournaments.

Earning a third-place finish at the tournament despite such obstacles surely deserves appreciation for the team’s potential if one must say.

However, Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf from Team Falcons seemingly thinks otherwise as he was completely unfazed by Tundra’s struggles and wrote in typical ATF fashion, “Go Home. Pure),” after defeating Tundra in the final game of the series.
