PSG.LGD have confirmed that it has officially parted ways with Zhang "Faith_bian" Ruida & Zhao "XinQ" Zixing.
Faith_bian had announced prior to The International 2022 (TI11) that he would be retiring after the tournament.
XinQ on the other hand departs PSG.LGD after coming on loan from EHOME in 2020, as PSG.LGD placed second at The International 2021 (TI10).

The roster shuffle season in the Chinese region continues as Chinese powerhouse PSG.LGD has officially announced the departure of Zhang "Faith_bian" Ruida & Zhao "XinQ" Zixing. The news did not surprise the community much as Faith_bian had announced that he would be retiring after The International 2022 (TI11), however it was expected that XinQ would stick around with PSG.LGD for the upcoming season after a short break.

The duo of Faith_bian & XinQ joined PSG.LGD in late 2020 from EHOME, with the latter coming in on loan from the former Chinese juggernauts.

PSG.LGD parts ways with Faith_bian & XinQ

“The wings are soaring, the steps are parting, and as a fellow dreamer, the good memories will live on forever. Brother Ruida, I wish you a prosperous life after retirement and a smooth and trouble-free life. See you again in the jungle!” announced the organization on its farewell post for Faith_bian on its Weibo page.

An hour later, PSG.LGD released a second farewell post saying that it has parted with XinQ following his contract expiration with the organization.

“PSG.LGD team player Zhao Zixing (ID : XinQ ) has officially left the team due to the expiration of the contract period, reverting to freelance status. In life, you are optimistic, you smile as if you forgot to open your eyes, and you always have some weird but fruitful ideas to add to the slightly boring training life of everyone. And on the field, you are remembered for more than just "washing your face"!” said PSG.LGD in its farewell post to XinQ.

PSG.LGD had recruited the duo of Faith_bian & XinQ in late 2020 from EHOME, and went on to dominate the Chinese region during the 2020/2021 Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season, where it would achieve a first place finish at the WePlay Animajor as well as multiple top three finishes at  4 different LAN events in 2021 including The International 2021 (TI10) where it would finish second place.

Despite the heartbreaking loss at TI10, PSG.LGD continued to dominate the regional scene in 2022 as well achieving first place at Riyadh Master 2022. However, prior to TI11 Faith_bian had announced that he would be retiring after the tournament. While the team wanted to achieve another TI Grand Finals appearance to honor the legacy of Faith_bian, the team would only go on to achieve a top six finish at TI11.

While it was expected that PSG.LGD would be in the market for a new offlaner for the upcoming season, XinQ announced that he would be looking for new opportunities prior to the announcement after opting to not renew with the organization due to health issues.

Following the announcement, PSG.LGD’s current roster is as follows:

  1. Wang “Ame” Chunyu

  2. Cheng “NothingToSay” Jin Xiang

  3. T.B.D

  4. Zhang "y`" Yiping

  5. T.B.D

It was rumored that Ame would be looking towards retirement following his recent unsuccessful attempt at claiming the Aegis of Champions. However, the player might decide to spend another season with the team. Additionally, Ame has invited his fans to watch his livestream later today on Bilibili with viewers expecting him to address the issue surrounding his career.
