OG vs T1: Match Recap and Highlights

Recap

Game 1 saw OG catch T1 with a surprise last pick Tinker for Topson. The laning phase went well for OG, who ramped up the aggression once they got their initial items. In the meantime, SumaiL was given free space to farm. Once SumaiL was ready to fight, he annihilated T1's heroes, took a triple Rampage, and won the game for his team in just 28 minutes.

Game 2 was a typical OG game because it involved a lot of skirmishes. T1, who generally prefers not to engage in early conflict, took the challenge and engaged head-on. Both safe lane carries, 23savage for T1 and SumaiL for OG, made some uncharacteristic errors that evened the game. SumaiL, however, redeemed himself later on with Topson's help, as OG won in 39 minutes with a great display of teamwork.

Highlights

Here are some highlights of the series.

The core duo of Syed "SumaiL" SumaiL Hassan and Topias Miikka "Topson" Taavitsainen worked very well throughout the series and led the team to a significant series victory. As a result, OG finishes the second day of the group stage with one series loss against Team Aster and one series win against T1, putting them second in the points table.

While the first series of the day saw a clinic of fine teamfight gameplay from T1 against Virtus.pro, the second one was not successful for them. In the middle stages, the team relied on its ability to turn the games, but OG forced some errors from them. T1 is now eighth in the group stage points standings of TI10, following day 2.
