In a recent Twitch stream anne "Gorgc" Stefanovski engaged in a candid conversation with Johan "N0tail" Sundstein, the former captain of OG. Amidst the discussion, N0tail shared a remarkable chapter from his esports career, one that revolved around his time with what he regards as the "most toxic team of all time" - Cloud9. The team consisted of himself, Jacky "EternaLEnVy" Mao, Adrian "FATA-" Trinks, Pittner "bOne7" Armand, and Rasmus "MiSeRy" Filipsen and it was formed before the TI5 roster shuffle.

N0tail, known for his unvarnished narratives, provided an unfiltered account of the tumultuous Cloud9 period. He highlighted an environment marred by persistent discord, with EternaLEnVy and FATA- being the primary instigators of tension, leading to communication breakdowns within the team.

N0tail recalls the most toxic team he has ever played in

One incident that remains etched in memory occurred during a pivotal match against Vici Gaming. Cloud9 stood on the cusp of victory when EternaLEnVy implored FATA- to occupy the high ground, a strategic move to secure their win. However, FATA- vehemently resisted, igniting a heated argument that culminated in a costly defeat. This quarrel marked a turning point, reducing in-game communication to a ceaseless exchange of hostilities between the two players, even rattling the usually composed MiSeRy.

“I think Fata was playing Lina and Envy was playing Lesh and then we kill Rosh and Envy tells Fata 'Yo Fata get on the f*cking high ground right now. You know we're gonna stay as five, we're all together' and then Fata tells Envy like don't tell me what the f*ck to do, shut up and then Envy keeps going it's like no listen to me you have to get on the high ground and then Fata's like no shut up,“ said Notail.

N0tail succinctly characterized the presence of both FATA- and EternaLEnVy on the same team during that period as a "toxic triangle."

Despite being cognizant of the ongoing friction between the two players, N0tail initially harbored optimism about a potential resolution for the sake of the team's success. However, the team's debut tournament performance unfolded as a disaster, marked by persistent clashes between EternaLEnVy and FATA-, eroding any semblance of a positive team dynamic.

Ultimately, N0tail took the pivotal decision to depart from Cloud9 after enduring several turbulent months. Looking back, he acknowledged this period as the epitome of toxicity in his career and expressed relief at moving beyond it. Subsequently, he embarked on a new journey, founding OG, a team that would go on to achieve unprecedented success with two consecutive The International titles.

EternaLEnVy would go on to join Team Secret, winning the Shanghai Major 2016.
