The newly revamped Nigma Galaxy failed to qualify for the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai after losing to PSG.Quest in a best of three series
Nigma Galaxy now seems to have its eyes on DreamLeague Season 22 closed qualifiers and will be playing its first match on 15th January

In a surprising turn of events at the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai MENA Qualifiers, the newly revamped Nigma Galaxy disappointed its fans as it failed to qualify for the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai. Fans had high expectations from the team as it featured Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi and Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan amongst its ranks once again. Playing in the Middle East and North African (MENA) region, Nigma Galaxy went up against teams like PSG.Quest and Winter Bear in the regional qualifiers but came up a bit short and were knocked out of the tournament.

Nigma Galaxy started the qualifiers by beating the Saudi Arabian team, Hininy in a best of one series and advanced to the next round. In the next round Nigma Galaxy went against its former mid-laner Kasra "Mikey" Mesbah’s team, Winter Bear. Nigma Galaxy was no match for Winter Bear’s well-coordinated team fights and dropped down to the lower bracket after a 2-1 series loss against Winter Bear.

However, luck seemed to be on Nigma’s side as its next match ended in a default win because Riyadh Chefs forfeited the game. This propelled Nigma towards the lower bracket semi-finals.

Nigma Galaxy met its doom when it played against PSG.Quest and played three nail-biting matches. Nigma Galaxy managed to secure the first game by countering Aybek "TA2000" Tokayev’s signature Naga Siren with Monkey King and Kunkka. While the Naga was countered, Miracle-'s Arc Warden maintained a strong presence throughout the map and maintained the map pressure throughout the game, ultimately leading to Nigma Galaxy’s win after winning a skirmish while pushing high ground.

Despite winning the first game, Nigma Galaxy could not repeat its success from the first game and suffered two back-to-back losses at the hands of PSG.Quest. Nigma Galaxy’s newly revamped roster seemed like it lacked coordination in team fights as PSG.Quest dominated the majority of the skirmishes throughout the map in games two and three.

Following this disappointing loss, Nigma Galaxy exited the qualifiers and is now looking towards qualifying for the DreamLeague Season 22. In its first game of DreamLeague Season 22 closed qualifiers, Nigma Galaxy is set to play against AdoNis on 15th January.

Stay tuned for further updates and news on the DreamLeague Season 22.
