The team aims to bounce back from a disappointing season and regain its competitive edge in the Dota 2 scene.
Speculation around the return of Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi comes to a close as Nigma Galaxy solidified its new lineup, ready to compete in upcoming tournaments.

After parting ways with two players and facing uncertainty, Nigma Galaxy has announced the addition of Kasra "Mikey" Mesbah and Yuma "Yuma" Langlet to its roster as the midlane and carry players, respectively. This move comes after Nigma Galaxy's disappointing performance in recent tournaments, which was followed by the departures of Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan and Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf. With the new lineup now complete, Nigma Galaxy aims to reestablish its dominance and make a strong comeback in the Dota 2 competitive scene.

Mikey's stand-out performance and Yuma's decision to join Nigma Galaxy

With the unveiling of Mikey and Yuma Langlet as Nigma Galaxy's new midlaner and carry players, respectively, the team aims to redefine its competitive trajectory. The acquisition of these talented individuals brings promising prospects for Nigma Galaxy's resurgence in the Dota 2 scene.

Mikey's remarkable skills were on display during his time as a stand-in player for Shopify Rebellion at Dreamleague Season 19. His impressive performances caught the attention of international teams, showcasing his abilities and potential in the big leagues. Nigma Galaxy's decision to bring Mikey into its roster reflects the team’s confidence in his capabilities to bolster the midlane position and contribute to the team's overall success.

Meanwhile, Yuma, who previously held the carry role for D1 Hustlers (formerly D2 Hustlers), made a daring choice by leaving his former team, which had secured a place in Division I. Opting to join Nigma Galaxy, who will compete in Division II of the upcoming DPC tour, Yuma may be demonstrating his belief in the team's potential and the opportunities it presents for himself. His decision to make the switch signifies a shared ambition to rebuild Nigma Galaxy's competitive dominance and reestablish its position among the top Dota 2 teams.

Gorgc shares his thoughts on Nigma Galaxy's new lineup

Popular Dota 2 streamer Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski also expressed his surprise at the recent additions to Nigma Galaxy's roster

“Mikey joins Nigma Galaxy, what the hell. Oh boy… another one for the Kuro blood contract. So it’s Mikey, Yuma, Mind_Control, GH, and Kuroky. Okay at least everyone’s playing their roles now, that's a benefit. At least they didn't invite an offlaner. No offense Ammar (referring to ATF) but just saying. Yeah, it’s interesting, Mikey did very well when he stood in for Shopify. Surely it will be different for Nigma this time. Surely they won't crash and burn. But they are playing Div II, so there will be hype, they’re gonna be winning most likely in Div II so people will feel like they’re doing good,” Gorgc said.

He then goes on to speak about how it’s all about The International 12 qualifiers and how he hopes that Mikey dint sign a long-term or super contract with Nigma Galaxy.

“But it’s all about the TI qualifiers coming up soon. Hopefully, he dint sign some super contract on Mikey and f*ck himself because the dude is young and also maybe he could go in as a stand-in for TI. It’s gonna be an American TI guys so we’re gonna have stand-in slots for people. A lot of people are not gonna visas. I’m guessing at least 5-10 people are not gonna get visas, there’s gonna be a lot of stand-in slots,” he added.

Nigma Galaxy has unveiled Mikey as its new midlaner and Yuma as the carry player, solidifying the team’s roster after recent departures. With Mikey's impressive stand-in performance for Shopify Rebellion and Yuma's bold decision to leave a Division I team for Division II, Nigma Galaxy aims to reclaim its competitive edge and make a strong comeback in the Dota 2 scene.
