Nigma Galaxy has officially announced that Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi will be taking a break from the competitive scene to deal with health issues.
The European based organization recently parted ways with coach Roman "rmN-" Paley after failing to qualify for TI11.
Miracle- 's replacement will be announced by Nigma Galaxy soon as the deadline for roster changes edges closer.

Nigma Galaxy have announced that its star carry player, Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi will be moving into the team’s inactive roster for the upcoming season. Miracle- was an integral part of team captain Kuro "KuroKy" Takhasomi’s roster and was recruited by him after TI6 as part of Team Liquid.

Under KuroKy’s leadership, Miracle- won The International 2017 (TI7) with Team Liquid and almost became a two-time TI (The International) champion. However, his hopes were denied by his former team OG at The International 2019 (TI9).

Miracle- takes a break to deal with health issues

“For the upcoming DPC season, @NigmaMiracle has decided to go on a break to deal with health issues and will not be on our active roster.” Nigma Galaxy wrote in its announcement post on Twitter.

Nigma Galaxy explained that while it was not an easy decision to make for Miracle-, the organization chose to respect Miracle- 's wishes of addressing his health condition as the player moves into the inactive roster. Additionally, the organization stated that it will reveal more information regarding his health situation during the upcoming competitive season.

Nigma Galaxy has had a terrible competitive season, as the team were relegated to the second division of the Western Europe (WEU) DPC league during the second tour. However, the recruitment of Syed "SumaiL" Hassan in place of Aliwi “w33” Omar during the third tour saw the team return to the first division of the regional league for the upcoming season.

The team did manage to regain their footing with multiple top eight finishes at Riyadh Masters 2022 & ESL One Malaysia. However, the team were unable to qualify for The International for a second time in a row after losing to fellow rivals Team Secret in the regional qualifiers.

As of now, here is Nigma Galaxy’s confirmed roster for the 2022/2023 Dota Pro Circuit (DPC):

  1. T.B.A

  2. Syed "SumaiL" Hassan

  3. Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov

  4. Maroun "GH" Merhej

  5. Kuro "KuroKy" Takhasomi

  • Daniel "ImmortalFaith" Moza (head coach)

Currently, there is no official announcement regarding Miracle-’s replacement. However, it is expected that Nigma Galaxy will announce Miracle- 's replacement in the upcoming days as the deadline for the roster locks is slowly edging closer.
