Nigma Galaxy recently underwent significant transitions that have sparked discussions among fans and analysts alike. At the heart of these discussions is Kuro "KuroKy" Salehi Takhasomi, a veteran of the game and a pivotal figure in Nigma Galaxy. In a post-game interview following an impressive victory at the Elite League, KuroKy shared his insights with Dota 2 commentator Matt "Danog" Joyce and British caster Liam “Epidamnos” Gilson, shedding light on the dynamics of the team's latest roster overhaul.

The departure of Maroun "GH" Merhej, who alongside KuroKy formed the backbone of Nigma Galaxy's support duo since 2017, marked a significant shift for the team. Stepping into GH's shoes is Farith "Matthew" Puente, previously the captain of EG, whose integration into the team has been a focal point of interest. The changes didn't stop there; with Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov also departing, Saieful "Fbz" Ilham was brought in to fortify the offlane position, further testing the team's adaptability.

KuroKy Comments on Nigma Galaxy’s New Roster and Challenges

KuroKy, in his conversation with Danog and Epidamnos, candidly expressed the impact of these changes. "It's been a big change for sure," KuroKy admitted, reflecting on the years spent alongside GH. The transition period, according to him, is ongoing but marked by steady improvement. KuroKy's optimism is a testament to Nigma Galaxy's commitment to evolving and overcoming the hurdles posed by new team dynamics.

I've played with GH for so long, seven years or eight years, so to be honest, we're still adjusting. It is taking us some time, but I feel like, uh, we're improving day by day,” he said.

Epidamnos further asked KuroKy if Matthew, as a former team captain of EG, was still making the calls or not.

KuroKy noted, “Matthew, he does have a lot of good opinions and we're taking his information to like to utilize it for our team.”

He further added, “He wished to, like, take a step back from captain, and I think he's also adjusting, to be honest. Like, it's taking time for him and for us. Like, we had a talk the other day, and he's, uh, he's adjusting. He feels good in his role overall, but, uh, things take time.”

Following this interview, Nigma Galaxy played against Talon Esports but was unsuccessful in beating the team and lost in a 2-1 series and are now set to face Tundra Esports on 2nd April.
