Kaka, a popular Chinese support player, has become the tenth player to play over 2000 games in the competitive Dota 2 scene. As a member of Invictus Gaming, Hu "kaka" Liangzhi reached this milestone in the grand final of the i-League 2021 against Team Aster which was held earlier this week. Unfortunately, Invictus Gaming fell to the losing side as they lost the series 3-0 in less than 80 minutes. As of today, Kaka has played 2002 games in his professional career, making him only the second Chinese player after Elephant's position four, Xu "fy" Linsen, to achieve this milestone.

Kaka is followed on the 2000 games list by Alliance's support, Artsiom "fng" Barshak, at 1951 games, and Chicken Fighters' support, Adrian "Era" Kryeziu, at around 1920 games. Era will likely continue to increase his game count as Chicken Fighters is competing in the Dota 2 Champions League 2021.

Out of the 10 current players on the list, Nigma KuroKy, Tundra Fata, Sadboys EternaLEnVy, and HellRaisers Resolut1on will not be seen at this year’s The International 10 (TI10). Out of the remaining six, N0tail will be targeting his third TI title, Puppey and s4 are aiming for their second TI titles, and Fly, Fly, and kaka will be looking to win their first TI title at TI10.

Kaka qualified for TI10 with Invictus Gaming by earning enough Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) points in the regular season. Earlier in the season, the team had made a huge impression by winning the first Major, the Singapore Major, by defeating Evil Geniuses 3-2 in the grand final.
