Kaka Becomes the Tenth Player to Cross 2000 Professional Dota 2 Games

Kaka, a popular Chinese support player, has become the tenth player to play over 2000 games in the competitive Dota 2 scene.
As a member of Invictus Gaming, kaka reached this milestone in the grand final of the i-League 2021 against Team Aster which was held earlier this week.
As of today, Kaka has played 2002 games in his professional career, making him only the second Chinese player after Elephant's position four, fy to achieve this milestone.

Kaka, a popular Chinese support player, has become the tenth player to play over 2000 games in the competitive Dota 2 scene. As a member of Invictus Gaming, Hu "kaka" Liangzhi reached this milestone in the grand final of the i-League 2021 against Team Aster which was held earlier this week. Unfortunately, Invictus Gaming fell to the losing side as they lost the series 3-0 in less than 80 minutes. As of today, Kaka has played 2002 games in his professional career, making him only the second Chinese player after Elephant's position four, Xu "fy" Linsen, to achieve this milestone.

Here are the 10 players who have played over 2000 games in Dota 2:

  6. Adrian "Fata" Trinks

  7. Clement "Puppey" Ivanov

  8. Jacky "EternaLEnVy" Mao

  9. Roman "Resolut1on" Fomynok

  10. Hu "kaka" Liangzhi

Kaka has 1142 wins and 860 losses in his career of 2000 games with a win rate of 57.04%. Puppey boasts the highest win rate of 66.70% in this elite list.

Kaka is followed on the 2000 games list by Alliance's support, Artsiom "fng" Barshak, at 1951 games, and Chicken Fighters' support, Adrian "Era" Kryeziu, at around 1920 games. Era will likely continue to increase his game count as Chicken Fighters is competing in the Dota 2 Champions League 2021.

Out of the 10 current players on the list, Nigma KuroKy, Tundra Fata, Sadboys EternaLEnVy, and HellRaisers Resolut1on will not be seen at this year’s The International 10 (TI10). These four players failed to qualify in their TI10 regional qualifiers. Out of the remaining six, N0tail will be targeting his third TI title, Puppey and s4 are aiming for their second TI titles, and Fly, Fly, and kaka will be looking to win their first TI title at TI10.

Kaka qualified for TI10 with Invictus Gaming by earning enough Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) points in the regular season. Earlier in the season, the team had made a huge impression by winning the first Major, the Singapore Major, by defeating Evil Geniuses 3-2 in the grand final.
