Iceiceice Gets Blessed By Valve After He Prays to GabeN

Iceiceice always manages to keep his viewers interested in his livestreams with his audience chatting, candid responses, and other antics. Daryl Koh "iceiceice" Pei Xiang was seen on one of his recent streams opening the Immortal Treasures of the Nemestice Battle Pass while talking to his live chat. The player had been yearning for the "Very Rare" Tidehunter reward, which contained a golden Immortal but had not yet won after trying several times. In the end, the Singaporean finally prayed to Valve's co-founder, Gabe Newell aka GabeN for this Immortal, reciting a prayer, and, interestingly enough, he received the Tidehunter Golden Immortal on the following spin.

To acquire the Immortal Tidehunter set, Iceiceice had already opened a number of Immortal Treasures, bought more Battle Pass levels as well as recycled many rewards.

This Tidehunter Immortal is a "Very Rare" award, so your chances of getting it increase as you buy and open more treasures. Having already opened so many treasures, the Evil Geniuses' offlaner was quite close to reaping it. When someone in the chat offered to gift him the treasure, he denied saying that he wanted to get it himself.

He then recited the prayer and it was hilarious to see that the odd where he got the reward and the praying activity coincided. Although Iceiceice was unfamiliar with the exact prayer, he seemed to be able to recite it well enough to please GabeN.

After receiving the reward, he put his hands with fists folded up in the air, signifying that the prayer was the reason behind earning that particular reward and that he had won.

Iceiceice has spent enough money on the Nemestice Battle Pass to level it up past 500 and has already reaped most of the rewards. The most notable rewards, apart from the Immortal Treasures, include the Spectre Arcana at level 330, the Dragon Knight Persona cosmetics at level 200, 215, 222, and the ranged attacks special effect at level 500.

While he had longed for this Tidehunter Immortal at one point, he has now opened enough Treasures to even win the "Ultra Rare" Void Spirit set.

The Nemestice Battle Pass provides three purchase options starting from the $7.49 Level 1 Bundle, the $26.99 Level 50 Bundle, and finally the highest $41.99 Level 100 Bundle.
