Games of the Future 2024 is a tier 2 tournament happening between 19th and 25th February. It features some of the best Dota 2 teams from around the world. It is an offline tournament with two stages, Groups, and Playoffs, and boasts a $1,000,000 USD prize pool.
While 16 teams are playing in the tournament at the start, only 12 will move on to the playoffs. The group stage of the Games of the Future 2024 is scheduled to take place on 19th and 20th February. Following this, the Playoffs will kick off on 21st February and conclude on 25th February with the grand finale.

These 16 teams have been divided into four groups featuring four teams each. The bottom team at the end of the group stage from each group will be eliminated.
Tournament Format
The format of this Tier 2 Dota 2 tournament is as follows:

Four groups of four teams in a modified GSL format
All matches are best-of-three (BO3)
The top team from each group advances to the quarterfinals of the playoffs
2nd and 3rd place teams from each group advance to Round 1 of the playoffs
The bottom team from each group is eliminated
