With $10 million USD going directly to charities around the world, Gamers Without Borders, the charitable esports organization from Saudi Arabia is back for its third consecutive year. Dota 2 also features in the 2022 edition and runs from 4th to 8th May with a $2 million prize pool dedicated to charity donations. The Dota 2 division saw two teams get invited, while two made it through the open qualifier across the three different regions - Europe, Asia, and Saudi Arabia. Along with the charity, the teams will also be competing for a slot at the “inaugural Saudi Esports’s flagship Gaming & Esports event” that takes place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, boasting a total prize pool of $15 million for all events.

An English livestream of Gamers Without Borders 2022's Dota 2 event will be available on the organization's Twitch channel - https://www.twitch.tv/gwbps_en.
Matches will be streamed in six different languages. Choose your preferred language from the six available options on watch.gamerswithoutborders.com/dota2/.
The teams will donate the amount they win from the event to one of Gamers Without Borders' charity partners (Direct Relief, International Medical Corps, UNICEF, GAVI, and UNHCR). The Gamers Without Borders Dota 2 event held in 2020 involved eight of the best teams from Western and Eastern Europe and saw Team Secret emerge as the winner. The total prize pool for charity donations in the 2020 event was $1.5 million.
Dota 2 is not the only esports title currently being played at Gamers Without Borders 2022. Fortnite and Rocket League are also on the list. The entire event began on 28th April and will end on 7th June. The competitions will qualify teams for the Gamers Without Borders LAN event in Riyadh from 21st to 24th July. This LAN event will feature 15$ million in prize money.
