Gaimin Gladiators has signed the Team Tickles Dota 2 lineup that impressed many in the most recent tour of the DPC Western European Division 1. Team Tickles finished in second place thanks to a run that saw them secure victories over the likes of Team Nigma, Tundra Esports and OG propelling them into the upcoming Regional Finals. While the regional finals are still a few days away, fans can see the team make its debut under the Gaimin Gladiators name at the D2CL Season 7, on Tuesday.

The new Gaimin Gladiators lineup will feature:

Mid (2) - Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan
Offlane (3) - Marcus "Ace" Hoelgaard

According to a release, the Gaimin Gladiators organization has looked to work with Team Tickles due to their impressive performances in the last few months. The organization also expressed its excitement with the young team and stated that it intends to grow and support it throughout the year.
The Gaimin Gladiators organization plans to compete in multiple events and tournaments in the short and long term since the team has signed a long-term contract with the organization with the goal of reaching The International by the end of the year. In addition, the organization plans to create content about the team and their journey to The International.
“Our journey as a team started a few months ago, and I am certain this opportunity will help us to level up,” said Seleri, the team’s captain. “I want to thank everyone that has supported us so far, you will get to see a lot more from us in and out of game in the near future!''
Gaimin Gladiators will be seen competing at the upcoming 2021/2022 DPC Tour 1 Western European: Regional Finals which kicks off on February 11. The team will be competing against Tundra Esports in its first match at the tournament.

There has been a recent influx of new organizations making their way into the Dota 2 ecosystem. In January, League of Legends stalwart TSM entered the Dota 2 market by signing North American division 1 DPC side, Team Undying.
It is certainly an encouraging sign for the ecosystem to see teams continuing to invest in Dota 2 despite recent setbacks.
