Fnatic vs Team Secret: Match Recap and Highlights

Recap

In Game 1, Fnatic excelled at laning. Later on, Jabz proved to be a real nuisance with his Nature's Prophet, as he blocked enemy Ancients and split pushed the map relentlessly. During one of those pivotal moments when it looked like Team Secret could come back, ChYuan managed to steal the Aegis with a stunning Ball Lightning on his Storm Spirit. The lead grew as the match progressed, and Fnatic eventually won in 42 minutes.

Game 2 was quite similar to the first as Fnatic ramped up the pace once the laning stage was over and completely overwhelmed Team Secret. As Fnatic continued to find timely kills, it shrunk the map for its opponents. After acquiring Aegis, Fnatic pushed the high ground, won the teamfight and the game in 35 minutes.

Highlights

Here are some highlights of the series.

After a string of shaky and inconsistent performances the past three days, Fnatic delivered their best performance yet against Team Secret. Not only did they make some great moves, but each of their players presented a stellar performance. It was apparent that the players were accurate in casting their spells and choosing their items. Fnatic has completed its quota of group stage matches.

Meanwhile, Team Secret failed to meet its standards. On top of that, it is safe to say that Fnatic just outperformed them in every department of the game. This series loss has weakened Team Secret's chances of finishing in the top-four of the upper bracket. For the team, there is still one series against Vici Gaming to play today.

Groups A and B appear headed for some fascinating tiebreakers. You can keep track of all the Dota 2 action at TI10 by visiting the following link.
