Execration parts ways with coach March after just one Tour with the South Korean coach.
March had guided Execration to victory in the DPC SEA 2023 Tour 1: Division 1 but under-performed in the Lima Major 2023.
Despite the setback, March has an impressive coaching record and is expected to find a new team soon.

After a fairly successful stint together in the Dota 2 Pro Circuit (DPC) Southeast Asia (SEA) 2023 Tour 1: Division I, Execration has parted ways with its coach Park "March" Tae-won. In his time as the team's coach, March guided the team from December 2021 up until the Lima Major 2023, and during his tenure, the team won the DPC SEA 2023 Tour 1: Division 1. His departure from Execration follows a rather disappointing performance at the Lima Major where the team was eliminated without even making it to the playoffs.

March is no longer a member of Execration’s Dota 2 lineup

“We always know how to play, but you taught us how to win. Wish you luck on your next journey,” read Execration’s official post announcing March’s departure from the lineup. March has not issued any statements following this roster change.

Following March’s departure, Execration’s roster is comprised of the following members:

  • Jinn "Palos" Lamatao

  • Mark "Bob" Urbina

  • Justine "Tino" Grimaldo

  • Mark "Shanks" Redira

  • Juan "BDz" Manalo

Despite the recent setback, March's track record in leadership positions in SEA teams is quite impressive, having led TNC Predator to win the MDL: Chengdu Major 2019, becoming one of only two players to have led a SEA team to a DPC Major victory. He also coached T1 to an impressive Top 3 finish at the WePlay! AniMajor 2021.

It is expected that the South Korean star will quickly find a new home for himself in the Dota 2 world, and it will be interesting to see where he lands next.
