Electronic Sports Broadcasting (ESB), a Peruvian tournament organizer and broadcast studio, will hold the Liga 2024 amounting to $2 million USD.
It has three Tours out of which there will be two $500,000 tournaments and one $1 Million tournament.
In 2024, the first Tour takes place from 3rd to 14th April, the second from 24th July to 4th August, and the third from 27th Nov to 6th Dec.

A few organizations have stepped in just as ESL looked like it would be the only tournament organizer around that would carry the weight of the competitive Dota 2 scene in 2024 after the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) was discontinued. Electronic Sports Broadcasting (ESB), a Peruvian tournament organizer and broadcast studio, that regularly covered DPC content for South America, will hold the Liga 2024 amounting to $2 million USD. It has three Tours of which there will be two $500,000 tournaments and one $1 Million tournament. The first Tour will take place in April, followed by the second in July-August and the third in November-December.

Announcing its plans to host Liga 2024 on Twitter, ESB revealed that the three tournaments will bring together some of the biggest teams from across the globe in addition to introducing some new formats.

In 2024, the first Tour takes place from 3rd to 14th April, the second from 24th July to 4th August, and the third from 27th Nov to 6th Dec. Prize pools for the first two will total $500,000, and $1 Million will be on offer for the final.

In the tweet, ESB also mentioned its journey from starting in 2018 to planning significant tournaments in 2024 while thanking the viewers. “Several years ago, we embarked on this journey, starting from humble beginnings with professionalism, humility, and tremendous effort. Gradually, we've built a close relationship with all of you who follow us diligently in every broadcast we make,” it said.

In the near future, ESB will share more details on the project. With the whopping amount at stake and the quality of teams and storylines that would compete, this is a significant step for the professional Dota 2 landscape, particularly in South America.

While ESL had already announced plans to organize Dota 2 tournaments throughout the year as part of the ESL Pro Tour (EPT), ESB and BetBoom are also two organizations that have recently made significant announcements. BetBoom recently announced two events with $1 million in prize money each, which will take place in Feb and Oct 2024, respectively.

Furthermore, the inclusion of additional tier 2 and tier 3 tournaments throughout the year suggests a number of events in store for the Dota 2 competitive scene in 2024.
