Stormstormer has been moved to the inactive roster of Entity post TI12.
Entity released an official announcement confirming Stormstormer's status, giving him the green signal to purse other opportunities.

In the ever-evolving world of competitive Dota 2, roster changes are a common occurrence, and the aftermath of The International (TI) is often a catalyst for these shifts. Among the latest surprising developments, Entity has placed its star mid-laner, Daniel "Stormstormer" Schoetzau, onto the inactive roster after a two-year partnership. During his time at Entity, the team qualified for two consecutive TIs. However, Entity’s performances in these tournaments only landed it in the 9th-12th place range.

Stormstormer Is Now LFT

The news of Stormstormer's move to the inactive roster from Entity came as a surprise to the Dota 2 community. In a Twitter post, Stormstormer reflected on the transition. He said, "As one chapter ends, another one will open. Now I am LFT as pos[ition] 2, my dedication to this game and being a good teammate is just like before.

This message suggests that Stormstormer is not ready to hang up his mouse and keyboard just yet and is actively seeking new opportunities.

Entity, on the other hand, issued an official announcement, confirming Stormstormer's departure and expressing gratitude for his contributions to the team over the past two years. The organization's statement read, "Sometimes it's time for changes… From now on @StormingStorm is moved from our active to inactive roster. He is free to discover new possibilities. Thank you, Stormstormer, for the past 2 years and everything that you gave to Entity! All the best for your future!"

With Stormstormer now officially a free agent, the Dota 2 community will be watching closely to see where the talented mid-laner lands and how he adapts to a new team. Additionally, Entity will be in the spotlight as it seeks to fill the void left by Stormstormer and reshape its roster for future challenges.

Entity player Vladislav "Kataomi" Semenov thanked Stormstormer and tweeted, “We started 2 years ago from 0, and achieved so many heights along our way. Sadly today our way separates… Thank you for everything brother and good luck!”

The current Entity roster includes:

  • Alimzhan “watson” Islambekov

  • TBD (To Be Determined)

  • Kim "Gabbi" Santos

  • Vladislav "Kataomi" Semenov

  • Dzmitry "Fishman" Palishchuk

Stormstormer's journey with Entity began on 23rd November 2021, when he joined the organization as part of the Dota 2 roster known as "Creepwave." The team's impressive feat of securing two TI qualifications cannot be understated, as this is a significant accomplishment in the fiercely competitive world of professional Dota 2.

The "TBD" slot will undoubtedly be closely watched by Entity fans and the Dota 2 community. The upcoming ESL One Malaysia and other events in the competitive Dota 2 scene will shed light on the impact of these changes for both Stormstormer and Entity.
