EHOME has decided to change things up this time around by adding some young Dota 2 players to its roster. Four members of Phoenix Gaming, all in the early stages of their careers, have been transferred to EHOME for the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021-22. A solid performance by Phoenix Gaming in the Lower Division of the second league of the previous season had earned the team a second place finish. In a post on Weibo, EHOME announced this roster change, saying that it reached this decision after friendly negotiations with the opposite party.

On 20th Nov 2021, EHOME announced that four players from the Phoenix Gaming roster, barring the position three player, had been transferred to its Dota roster. Additionally, the club hoped the team would perform brilliantly and achieve the desired outcomes during the upcoming season.

EHOME’s updated Dota 2 roster for the DPC 2021-22:

  1. Guo "shiro" Xuanang

  2. Huang "7e" Heming

  3. TBD

  4. Lin "plAnet" Hao

  5. Zhang "zzq" Ziqiang

The only member of Phoenix Gaming's roster who did not accompany his now-former teammates to EHOME is offlaner Hu "dolem" Sen.

These four new members of EHOME played previously with the organization's secondary squid, EHOME.Immortal, so the organization already knows what it is like to play with them. The fifth and final member of the team will be announced soon.

EHOME has opted to field a young lineup after playing with some of the most experienced Dota 2 players in China and Southeast Asia in the previous season. The squad that competed at The International 10 (TI10)’s regional qualifier consisted of the following players:

  1. Liu "Sylar" Jiajun

  2. Guo "Xm" Hongcheng

  3. Yang "Chalice" Shenyi

  4. Pan "Fade" Yi

  5. Yap "xNova" Jian Wei

In a highly competitive Chinese region, the squad struggled to qualify for the two Majors during the DPC 2021. Elephant remained the squad's only challenger to TI10 in the last resort qualifier, but EHOME was unable to muster the strength to win and lost the grand final. Over the last few months, xNova, Chalice, Xm, and Sylar have all left the team. EHOME continues to have Fade on its inactive roster.

With a new roster on deck, EHOME will be hoping to see a turnaround in the DPC 2021-22. Since this is the first major breakthrough for all four players, it will be interesting to see how they measure up against star-studded teams such as PSG.LGD and Team Aster in the Upper Division of the China DPC league.
