Gaimin Gladiators, the reigning champions of the Lima Major 2023 and Dreamleague Season 19, has been a force to be reckoned with in the professional Dota 2 scene. Led by their carry player, Anton "dyrachyo" Shkredov, the team has consistently performed at the highest level and is currently participating in the Berlin Major 2023. In a recent interview, dyrachyo revealed the team that has surprised him the most at the Major, as well as his thoughts on other top teams.

Dyrachyo names OG as the team that surprised him the most

As seen in the interview on KD ALL IN YouTube channel available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqhwMkRezns and reported first by Cybersport.ru, the team that has surprised dyrachyo the most at the Berlin Major 2023 is OG. The team, which made it to the Major through a miracle run in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Western Europe (WEU) 2023 Tour 2: Division I, has been impressive so far in the tournament. Despite playing the tournament with two stand-ins Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov and Kartik "Kitrak" Rathi, OG managed to win their group and make it through to the playoffs. Dyrachyo also had some words of praise for Artem "Yuragi" Golubiev, OG's carry player, who he believes has been playing exceptionally well.

Only OG. OG - well done, just like that, they went to the majors, won the groups, roughly speaking, and made the first round [playoffs] <...>. Artem [Yuragi] plays well.

Team Liquid does not seem to be in the best shape

In addition to talking about OG, Dyrachyo also commented on Team Liquid, another top team at the Berlin Major 2023. According to him, Liquid is not in the best shape at the moment and may be tired or burnt out. While Liquid has a strong roster and has had success in the DPC, Dyrachyo believes that they are not performing at their best currently.

It seems to me that the guys there are just not in the best shape, it happens. Maybe tired, maybe some players burned out.

Team Liquid has recently dropped to the lower bracket of the Berlin Major after losing their first upper bracket series to OG and will be playing their next series against Team Aster with their tournament lives on the line.

Dyrachyo's comments about OG's performance at the Berlin Major are echoed by many others within the professional Dota 2 community. The team's impressive run with two stand-ins has caught the attention of fans and experts alike, and their journey through the DPC WEU 2023 Tour 2 Division I to make it to the major has been nothing short of miraculous. Yuragi's standout performances have also caught Dyrachyo's attention, proving that he is a player to watch out for.

On the other hand, Team Liquid's recent performance indicates that the team is not in the best shape at the moment. While they have had a good run in the DPC, their loss in their first series at the Berlin Major playoffs puts them at risk of being eliminated from the tournament. It remains to be seen whether Team Liquid can bounce back and make a deep run in the playoffs.
