The Regional Finals in the Western Europe, Southeast Asia, and South America regions will run from 11th to 13th Feb 2022.
In the Southeast Asia region, BOOM Esports, Fnatic, T1, and Team SMG will be competing in the Regional Finals. There will be a total prize pool of $100,000 USD and 380 DPC points at stake.

The Regional Finals of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) are just around the corner, bringing back some high stakes Dota 2 action. With a large sum of cash and the chance to win the coveted DPC points on the line, three regions - Western Europe (WEU), Southeast Asia (SEA), and South America (SA) - will begin with their Regional Finals on 11th Feb.

The Regional Finals in Southeast Asia are going to be exciting in terms of the DPC points and prize money as well as for the roster changes rumored for the four teams participating in the event. During the regular group stage play, we also saw that all four teams were capable of knocking each other out, so the event looks to be quite competitive. Here is a look at who is competing, the format, schedule, and more information about the DPC SEA 2021-22 Regional Finals.

Team list

The top four teams from DPC SEA 2021-22 Tour 1: Division 1 booked a spot in the Regional Finals.

  1. BOOM Esports

Prize Pool and DPC points distribution

In each Regional Final, there will be a total prize pool of $100,000 USD and 380 DPC points at stake. Here is how they will be rewarded.

  • 1st - $50,000, 250 points

  • 2nd - $25,000, 130 points

  • 3rd - $15,000, 0 points

  • 4th - $10,000, 0 points

Format (11th-13th Feb)

The four teams will play in a playoff format over a three-day period.

  • Double elimination bracket

  • All series are Bo3s, except for the grand final

  • Bo5 grand final

Schedule

A total of six series will take place in the event over the course of three days.

Beyond the Summit will once again be providing the broadcast of the SEA Regional Finals, after having broadcasted Tour 1 of the region.

The Regional Finals come in place of the first Major of the DPC 2021-22, which had to be canceled due to the problems posed by the ongoing global pandemic. The top four teams from each of the six regions were invited to participate in these events.

After this weekend's WEU, SEA, and SA Regional Finals, the other three regions - North America, China, and Eastern Europe - will be playing theirs from 18th to 20th Feb.
