Team Secret coach Tue "ah fu" Soon Chuan has joined the active lineup as a position four player. He replaces Marcel "Ekki" Hołowienko who is now benched.
Lee "Heen" Seung Gon, who was on a break from competitive Dota 2, returns as the coach for Team Secret.

Team Secret has undergone an internal change within its Dota 2 lineup, with coach Tue "ah fu" Soon Chuan transitioning to the position four role for the team. He replaces Marcel "Ekki" Hołowienko, who was previously rumored to have left Secret.

At the moment, Ekki is benched. Ah fu's departure left the coach position vacant and Lee "Heen" Seung Gon, who was inactive, has returned to take over this role. Late last year, Heen, who has been with Secret for nearly five years, took a break from competitive Dota 2.

Ah Fu Makes the Switch From Coach to Support for Team Secret as Heen Returns

Soon after the formal announcement of ah fu’s transition into Ekki’s position, Secret revealed the return of Heen.

“The return of the king. Heen is back. After a few months break, Heen is ready for some Dota. No need to introduce him, you already know what that means,” read an official statement by the organization.

According to reports, Ekki left Secret a few days ago and was also identified by his initials 'LFT' in his bio. Having coached the team for four months, Ah fu now takes his place as a natural position four player. Known for his aggressive support playstyle, he is usually observed making moves and seeking out kills while playing heroes like Earth Spirit and Earthshaker.

Puppey previously commented on ah fu's overall inclusion to the squad, highlighting how working with Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng and him at Team SMG for a brief period gave him a different perspective and approach to playstyles.

On the other hand, Puppey sees longtime coach Heen returning to active coaching and he will aid the team in the overall drafting and strategy.

Having ah fu into the starting lineup as a seasoned player, along with Heen's comeback and his wealth of coaching experience, adds a considerable amount of veteran presence to the team. This stands in contrast to the previous Secret lineup, which primarily relied on Puppey as the other four players are relatively younger.

The following players are now part of Team Secret's Dota 2 squad.

  1. Remco “Crystallis” Arets - Pos 1

  2. Teng “Kordan” Tjin Yao - Pos 2

  3. Miroslav “BOOM” Bičan - Pos 3

  4. Tue “ah fu” Soon Chuan - Pos 4

  5. Clement “Puppey” Ivanov - Pos 5

  6. Lee “Heen” Seung Gon - Coach

Secret has yet to move beyond its low form from the 2024 competitive season, so it will hope to see these changes help turn things around. DreamLeague Season 23: Western Europe Closed Qualifier and Elite League are the next events where the team will be seen in action.
