The International 2 (TI2) champion, Wong "ChuaN" Hock Chuan, has offered to help Cheng "NothingToSay" Jin Xiang and Chan "Oli" Chon Kien, both of whom have reportedly been experiencing issues regarding their travel to Romania, where TI10 is scheduled to take place. ChuaN, in a post on Weibo, said that he will approach the sports department to figure out a solution for his two Malaysian allies. NothingToSay and Oli both hail from Malaysia, but they compete for Chinese teams, PSG.LGD and Invictus Gaming, respectively.

ChuaN will help NothingToSay and Oli to overcome TI10 travel hurdles

After the general manager of PSG.LGD posted an update on NothingToSay's travel to TI10, ChuaN sent a Weibo post announcing he will visit the sports department to talk about the matter on Monday (13th Sept, 2021). ChuaN also mentioned the name of Oli who seems to be facing similar issues as NothingToSay.

Furthermore, ChuaN explained that he is helping NothingToSay and Oli because when he was in China, the people had helped him greatly, and now he wants to give something back to them.

The majority of ChuaN's Dota 2 career has been spent playing with Chinese teams such as Invictus Gaming, Newbee, and Vici Gaming. Playing for Invictus Gaming, TI2 saw him become the first player from Southeast Asia (SEA) to win TI. According to Liquipedia, the Malaysian player has won $714,263 USD over the course of his career.

The 30-year-old ChuaN has not played competitive Dota 2 for more than two years now, but he continues to tweet about the game and its professional scene.

Malaysia has recently seen a surge of COVID-19 cases, which has likely prompted such travel issues. Another Malaysian player who will compete at TI10 is Ng "ChYuan" Kee Chyuan, a midlaner for Fnatic. However, he was successful in obtaining the Visa and is already at his team's bootcamp in Europe.

It remains to be seen how much ChuaN can help NothingToSay and Oli with their travel arrangements. PSG.LGD and Invictus Gaming do not have much time left until TI10 takes place from 7th to 17th Oct, 2021, which is less than a month away. Both teams would like to get their players to TI10’s bootcamp as soon as possible, so their players have adequate time to prepare for the event. In a situation like this, both parties are likely to be searching for potential alternatives, though nothing concrete is known to date.
