During the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Western Europe (WEU) 2021-22 Tour 1: Division 1, Nigma Galaxy has fallen way short of expectations, winning just one series out of four.
Due to its large and fairly vocal fanbase, the team’s members, especially its carry, Igor "iLTW" Filatov, have come under increasing scrutiny lately because of their subpar performances.
However, former OG offlaner, Sébastien "Ceb" Debs, who has previously played with iLTW, tweeted in support of the player. In Ceb's opinion, all those who doubt iLTW's abilities are noobs.

Ceb tweets in support of iLTW after fans lash out against iLTW’s performances for Nigma Galaxy

So far, the DPC season has been tough on Nigma Galaxy. In its first three series losses, most of the games were one-sided, showing that the team was far from its potential. Apparently, these losses did not sit well with its fans until the team finally managed a series win by beating Team Secret 2-0 in the fourth series, demonstrating a definite improvement. A day later, Ceb, a former teammate of iLTW, took to Twitter to address his doubters.

ILTW played for OG for a couple of months at the start of 2019 and following that, he has filled in a number of times in various tournaments. When talking about various carry players for OG on the Position 6 Podcast with Daniel Offen in May 2021, Ceb had mentioned that iLTW would have been a good fit for his team, however, there were certain issues and circumstances that prevented it from happening.

In April 2021, iLTW joined Nigma Galaxy after spending some time in Eastern European teams between 2019 and 2020. Following the player’s addition, the team seemed quite strong in the second half of the previous season, exhibiting top performances at the WePlay AniMajor and TI10's regional qualifier. However, by some close margins, it failed to qualify for TI10.

After TI10, Nigma Galaxy was one of only a handful of teams in Division 1 of the DPC 2021-22 that stuck with its roster from the previous season.

ILTW and his teammates have not had the best start to the DPC 2021-22, but beating Team Secret shall most definitely lift their spirits heading into the Christmas and New Year's break. The fans of Nigma Galaxy will be hoping for a complete turnaround when the team returns to action in January 2022. Nigma Galaxy will play Alliance, a team struggling on a similar level as them, in an important series in the DPC on 5th Jan 2022.
