Ceb is returning to OG for the Arlington Major 2022.
Ceb will be replacing Misha in OG's lineup at the major since the latter has failed to secure his visa in time for the tournament. The same goes for OG's coach Chuvash.
In his previous appearance as a stand-in, OG went on to win the ESL One Stockholm Major 2022

Two time TI champion, Sébastien "Ceb" Debs is lacing up his gloves once again. Ceb will be competing with OG in the PGL Arlington Major 2022 as the team’s five position player. Unfortunately, OG’s captain Mikhail "Misha" Agatov and coach Evgenii "Chuvash" Makarov were unable to obtain visas for the PGL Arlington Major which has forced Ceb to step in as the stand-in for the team. While the OG team is undoubtedly going to be disappointed to compete at the tournament without their captain and coach, they cannot ask for a better stand-in.

With Ceb in its lineup as a stand-in, OG had just managed to win the ESL One Stockholm Major 2022. Fans will be hyped to see one of the best players in the game return to competitive action once again.

Ceb will stand-in for OG once again, no word on stand-in coach

According to OG’s announcement, although visa approvals were secured for all the members in the OG lineup, the team was unable to secure visa appointments to obtain the visas for Chuvash and Misha. “Unfortunately, this was an issue facing many of the teams that are having stand-ins at the event due to the current immigration climate and USCIS backlog. We are grateful, however, that Ceb can once again step into the roster and hopefully guide the team once more to a Major victory,” said Mike Schwartz, Head of esports at OG in the announcement.

When a similar situation occurred in OG’s Dota 2 lineup at the ESL One Stockholm Major 2022, the team turned towards Ceb as the stand-in for the position 5 role while Johan "N0tail" Sundstein was brought in as the coach for the lineup. However, this time around, OG has not made any announcements regarding the coaching setup for this major. In the previous major, Chuvash and Misha were coaching OG virtually. Perhaps we will see more of the same this time.

With Ceb standing in for the OG lineup, its roster for the PGL Arlington Major will be:

  • Artem "Yuragi" Golubiev

  • Bozhidar "bzm" Bogdanov

  • Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf

  • Tommy "Taiga" Le

  • Sébastien "Ceb" Debs

OG fans will be hoping for Ceb to make two for two as a stand-in in majors. However, the PGL Arlington Major is expected to pose a tougher challenge since Chinese teams will be competing in an international Dota Pro Circuit LAN tournament for the first time this season.

OG is not the only team currently experiencing visa issues with the Major. Multiple teams including Fnatic, Xtreme Gaming, RNG, Thunder Awaken and more have been hurt by visa issues and will not be playing with their full strength rosters in the PGL Arlington Major 2022.
