BOOM Esports continues with its stellar form to win another tournament, the Mineski Masters. BOOM Esports had to deal with a competitive Motivate.Trust Gaming team in the grand final, and although they were 2-0 down in the Bo5 grand final, the team later won three games in a row to win the series and claim the title. The first, third, and fifth games of the grand final were intensely competitive, with both teams producing some brilliant moments. As a result of its first-place finish, BOOM Esports wins around $8,000 USD.

BOOM Esports takes down Motivate.Trust Gaming to become Mineski Masters champions

Among the four invited teams at the Mineski Masters, BOOM Esports and Motivate.Trust Gaming were undoubtedly the two strongest teams. In contrast to the former, which reached the grand final following an upper bracket run, the latter was dropped to the lower bracket and won four series to reach the final.

With two superb teams in play, the final began in a spectacular fashion. First up was a neck-to-neck battle with both teams scoring kills, but BOOM Esports maintained a 5k networth advantage. A crucial teamfight at 47 minutes saw Motivate.Trust Gaming outmatch the opponents and take the win at 49 minutes. In the second game, Motivate.Trust Gaming took advantage of BOOM Esports' unconventional draft to win in 32 minutes.

The third game was the Erin Jasper "Yopaj" Ferrerr show, in which he went berserk on his mid Ember Spirit and ended with a 31-5-16 KDA. Souliya "JaCkky" Khoomphetsavong's high ground Medusa allowed the game to go on for 71 minutes, but it wasn't enough for Motivate.Trust Gaming to secure the victory. The fourth match was just like the second, but this time BOOM Esports came out on top.

After two tight games, and two games that ended in easy wins, the fifth game of the grand final was sure to be the ultimate showdown and it most certainly was. Motivate.Trust Gaming led the game for the first 30 minutes, but BOOM Esports took control in the second half to win it in the end.

During the grand final, there were a lot of interesting performances on display, but what proved to be the key point of difference was Yopaj's performance, compared to that of his counterpart, Poomipat "Fearless" Trisiripanit. Yopaj not only outperformed him most of the time in the laning phase, but his transitions were also comparatively smoother and more effective.

BOOM Esports is on a roll at the moment and has emerged as the team with the best record since the post-TI10 roster shake-up. The team won the BTS Pro Series S9 first and now it has taken the Mineski Masters championship title. With a veteran coach in Chai "Mushi" Yee Fung, the organization has assembled some of the most talented players in the region and so far, they have been very successful.

BOOM Esports and Motivate.Trust Gaming will now compete in Division 1 of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) SEA 2021-22: Tour 1.
