BOOM Esports has officially bid farewell to its Dota 2 roster. The announcement was initially made during a live podcast titled "BOOM Talk Vol 09: Dota 2? During the podcast, the team cited the challenging nature of the recent patch, expressing its inability to replicate its success in practice matches on the grand stage. It was revealed that the organization was now focused on rebuilding its Dota 2 team.

On 7th November, BOOM Esports Founder Gary “Natshuba” Ongko Putera confirmed that the organization currently had no members signed to its roster, signaling a complete overhaul.
