Recently, ATF was sighted playing against bots on popular Dota 2 Twitch livestreamer Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski's livestream.
As he explained to Gorgc, ATF appears to have suffered the consequences of playing a lot of ranked games since he injured his right hand.
However, his dedication to the game drove him to use his left hand to play with bots while his right was recovering.

Dota 2 is a highly satisfying game, but it also comes with a downside which is its addictive feature, leading to players queueing for matches one after another without taking necessary breaks. In addition to casual players, professional players are also prone to taking their passion for the game to different levels from time to time. Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf, who is currently on OG's inactive roster, appears to have suffered the consequences of playing a lot of ranked games since he injured his right hand, which is his dominant one. However, his propensity for playing the game led him to play with bots with his left hand while his right was healing.

ATF plays against bots after injuring his right hand from playing too many games

Recently, ATF was sighted playing against bots on popular Dota 2 Twitch livestreamer Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski's livestream. He became curious enough to ask the player what his reason for playing against the bots was, and his reply stunned not only him but everyone in his Twitch chat as well.

According to Gorgc, ATF explained that he had injured his right hand and was only able to use his left hand, so he played against bots. According to Gorgc, the injury occurred because ATF has been playing up to 15 games per day for the past several weeks. The livestreamer suggested that ATF’s right hand had begun to improve and that he just needed a little rest.

Like many of the young players emerging in competitive Dota 2, ATF has appeared in live streams of various Dota 2 personalities playing on the European server.

With a total of 29 matches in the last eight days, the 17-year-old has brought down the average daily number of games played to a daily average of nearly four, according to his match history as per Dota 2 Pro Tracker. Pro players such as Galvin "mizu" Kang have even played a total of 136 games in the previous eight days which is a staggering 17 games per day.

He hopes to get all his hand issues resolved as soon as possible so he can start playing ranked games again. Although he is still on the bench for OG, he is permitted to pursue new opportunities, which means he is likely to be playing for a new team in the Dota Pro Circuit (2022-2023).

At the moment, it is unclear if ATF has found a new team or if he is still looking. There are around two weeks left until the DPC 2022-23 rosters are locked.
