  • The TI10 SEA qualifier bracket has been released following the elimination of TNC Predator from the WePlay AniMajor and the subsequent failure to qualify for TI10 directly.
  • Since only T1 has guaranteed a spot at TI10, the remaining 15 teams from the upper and lower divisions of the SEA DPC Season 2 will play in this BO3 double-elimination qualifier bracket.
  • The TI10 SEA qualifier begins on June 30, 2021, and ends on July 3, possibly with the grand finals, which, unlike the rest of the bracket, will be a BO5 affair.

The TI10 SEA  qualifier bracket has been released following the elimination of TNC Predator from the WePlay AniMajor and the subsequent failure to qualify for TI10 directly. Since only T1 has guaranteed a spot at TI10, the remaining 15 teams from the upper and lower divisions of the SEA DPC Season 2 will play in this BO3 double-elimination qualifier bracket. The TI10 SEA qualifier begins on June 30, 2021, and ends on July 3, possibly with the grand finals, which, unlike the rest of the series, will be a BO5 affair. The winner of the SEA regional qualifier will be the second team from the region to qualify for TI10.

Teams

 The fifteen teams have been seeded based on the DPC points earned throughout the season followed by their ranking in the second season of the DPC. The fifteen seeds are as follows:

  1. OB.Neon
  2. TNC Predator
  3. Fnatic
  4. Execration
  5. BOOM Esports
  6. Omega Esports
  7. Motivate.Trust Gaming
  8. Team SMG
  9. Lilgun
  10. Former South Built Esports
  11. Galaxy Racer
  12. 496 Gaming
  13. Army Geniuses
  14. Team Mystery
  15. Cignal Ultra

As per the bracket seeding from Valve, the winner of Division 2 (Lower Division) has been given a higher seed than the seventh-place team in Division 1 (Upper Division). In a similar way, the runner-ups of Division 2 have also been given priority over the eight-placed team in Division 1.

Format

  • 15 teams double-elimination bracket.
  • All series are BO3 except for grand finals.
  • Grand Finals will be BO5
  • Winner qualifies for TI10

Qualifier Bracket

In round 1 of the upper bracket, OB.Neon will be facing Team SMG, BOOM Esports faces Execration, Fnatic faces Omega Esports, and TNC Predator faces Motivate.Trust Gaming.

In round 1 of the lower bracket, Lilgun has been given a BYE because of T1’s qualification while Army Geniuses faces 496 Gaming, Galaxy Racer faces Team Mystery, and Cignal Ultra faces the former squad of South Built Esports.

Information on how to watch these qualifiers and the time schedule is likely to be released after the conclusion of the WePlay AniMajor on June 13, 2021.


TI10 will be held from August 5-15 in Stockholm, Sweden, with the main event running from August 10-15 at the Avicii Arena. A total of 18 teams from around the world will be competing for the lion’s share of the $40 million USD prize pool. 

At the time of writing this article, 11 teams have qualified for the TI10.

  4. Quincy Crew
  5. Invictus Gaming
  6. T1
  7. Team Secret
  8. Vici Gaming
  9. Team Aster
  10. Alliance
  11. beastcoast

The 12th and final team to receive a direct invite will be either Team Nigma or Thunder  Predator.

Valve is yet to release details on the presence of a live audience at TI10.
