Execration’s mid lane player, Yuri Dave "Yowe" Pacaña, posted a video showcasing the life of a pro player at the WePlay AniMajor. Yowe talked about laundry handling, showcased the way the players ate breakfast at the hotel where they’re staying in Kyiv, and the view from his hotel room. The WePlay AniMajor was Yowe and Execration’s first Dota 2 Major Championship ever. Despite putting in a valiant effort, the team had been eliminated from a very competitive wild card round of the WePlay AniMajor.

Execration Yowe shares his day at the WePlay AniMajor hotel
Yowe shared this video talking about his stay at the Major on his Tiktok handle.
In addition to the lavish buffet that seemingly included the main course, desserts, fruits, and more, an espresso machine could also be seen catering to the coffee needs of the players. WePlay Esports had earlier communicated that a separate restaurant in the hotel had been dedicated to the Major participants.
Yowe would have loved to spend some more time at the Major and then also get a chance to play at the WePlay Esports Arena in the playoffs. But the punishing nature of the wild card round meant that only two out of the six teams progressed to the next round and Execration had to go back home. They delivered spectacular performances against top-tier teams like Team Secret, Vici Gaming, and Invictus Gaming, showing what they are capable of.
Who is Yowe?
Yowe was lauded by the analysts present on the WePlay English stream for some of his amazing performances in the midlane. He had only arrived at the noticeable competitive scene in 2019 and with very little international experience, he went up and valiantly fought against some of the most dreaded midlaners in the world like Nisha, Miracle-, Ori, and Emo.
Yowe would certainly have learned a lot from all the AniMajor matches and Execration, as a whole, exit the tournament stronger than ever. The Filipinos will be gearing up for the upcoming TI10 SEA qualifier scheduled from June 30 - July 3, 2021. After all these praiseworthy performances, they can be considered as one of the prime contenders to win the region’s TI10 slot.
