Although Execration exhibited immense strength and delivered some excellent performances, it wasn't enough to go past the wild card of the WePlay AniMajor. Execration is now the second team after AS Monaco Gambit to get eliminated from the second Major of the 2021 DPC season. The Filipinos put a valiant effort to take games off against all opponents except Team Nigma and if it had not been for the punishing format of the wild card which allows only two out of six teams to progress, they were a worthy contender of playing in the group stage. Even though Execration does not take home any prize money or DPC points, they will walk away with a lot of pride and confidence.

Execration has been eliminated from the WePlay AniMajor

Execration had entered the wild card as the underdogs with many people believing that they would bow out of the Major without putting up too much of a fight. But they were competitive enough to draw their series against Invictus Gaming, AS Monaco Gambit, Vici Gaming, Team Secret. Filipinos had a lot on the line in their last series against Team Nigma, but they could not stand toe to toe against Nigma in this match, getting run over easily to lose the series 2-0.

Execration showed off its strongest gameplay when drafts were stable and competitive. In the matches they won, their execution in-game was spot on, which lead to most of these victories being clean and one-sided victories. On the flip side, in the matches that they lost, it seemed like they had weaker drafts and were ran over right from the laning phase.

Execration’s average match spanned around 30 minutes in the AniMajor wild card, which means it either smacks its opponents or gets absolutely smashed.

Palos and his teammates' elimination means that they can not earn more DPC points and directly qualify for TI10. They will now have to pave a way to TI10 via the regional qualifiers that will be taking place from June 30 - July 3, 2021.

Due to the form that the team currently has, Execration poses a serious threat to other strong contenders like OB.Neon and Fnatic in the TI10 SEA qualifiers.
