TNC Predator suffers an unexpected loss to the Mongolian squad of Lilgun

While fans expected TNC Predator vs Lilgun to be an easy 2-0 victory for the Filipinos, Lilgun had some really intriguing tricks up their sleeves to pull off a stunning upset.

In game 1, Lilgun pulled out a mid Anti Mage to counter Armel's mid Medusa. They outplayed TNC massively in the middle stage, splitting them up as Anti Mage resorted to his customary split push strategy. As a result, TNC’s heroes were caught off-guard multiple times, going on to lose the game in 44 minutes.

Game 2 witnessed Lilgun incorporating an offlane Pudge in their draft which seemingly paid dividends as he was always in the right position to devour his ally Lycan whenever he was ruptured. Once again, Lilgun looked to be a much better squad in the gameplay execution as inflicted a loss on the Filipinos in 31 minutes.

Here are some highlights of the series.

The SEA 2021 DPC Season 2: Upper Division continues to intrigue us with some astonishing matches. Even though Lilgun may have dropped out of the Upper Division, they made it difficult for the Filipinos, who had everything to gain from this match. It looks like we will be having tiebreakers to conclude this season’s Upper Division thanks to the SEA teams being so evenly matched.
