Recap

Game 1 was a display of amazing teamwork by TNC as all their players were spot on with their spellcasting and positioning. Armel was a killer on his mid Puck while Boomy’s position five Tiny did loads of work. The Filipinos secured an easy game 1 victory in 32 minutes.

Game 2 saw BOOM absolutely outplaying TNC in every teamfight. Dreamocel was a beast on his safe lane Io while Mikoto and Fbz had great target prioritization in the fights. TNC only relied on a massive Chronosphere from Gabbi followed by an AA blast and Invoker Cataclysm, but that never transpired as BOOM won the second game in 34 minutes.

Game 3 witnessed BOOM come out ahead in the laning phase, but they never had enough firepower to counter Armel’s Medusa in the late game. The middle stages went horribly wrong for BOOM as they could never find any enemy kills. While Armel ultimately became a beast, it was Gabbi’s safe lane Tiny who led TNC to a victory in 35 minutes.

Highlights

Here are some highlights of the series.

Interview: TNC Gabbi talks about the loss against T1

T1 had ended TNC Predator’s undefeated streak in the tournament on May 1, 2021. Talking about the reason behind the loss, considering T1 has not been looking like one of the strongest teams in SEA DPC so far, Kim "Gabbi" Villafuerte said,

“I am not sure. I think they are pretty strong, too, T1. But I am not sure. I think we just played badly during/in that series. Kuku is our friend too. We want to give them a chance. No just kidding. (laughs)”
