Iceiceice, considered to be one of the jolliest and the most candid Dota 2 personalities, gave an intriguing interview in the NA DPC 2021 Season 2: Upper Division. After an easy 2-0 victory over Sadboys, Daryl Koh "iceiceice" Pei Xiang, hilariously talked about the difference in the perception of a ‘good or a boring game’ between the players and the fans as he trolled the matches of popular NA veteran, Jacky "EternaLEnVy" Mao. In addition, iceiceice also put his views on the names of the teams that he had been a part of over the years.

Evil Geniuses (EG) is currently displaying top-notch Dota 2 gameplay in the NA 2021 DPC Season 2: Upper Division and are undefeated with three wins in three series.

Iceiceice gives his fans a laugh in EG's post-match winners’ interview in the NA DPC

Iceiceice was upfront like always in the interview as he seemed to be easy putting his views on various topics.

EG had secured a comfortable victory over Sadboys and they were so high on confidence in the second game that they had even given the Aegis to Fly’s support Warlock. Since the series proved to be a one-sided affair, it was certainly not the most intriguing one from the fans’ perspective. Talking about the same, iceiceice was at his witty best as he compared them to the matches of EternaLEnVy.

“I think good games for players tend to be boring for the fans or the viewers which is why when you watch people like EternaLEnVy play a game, it is really interesting when it’s like a horrible game to actually be playing.”

Iceiceice was also asked to rate the name of his current team, EG. While he found the name to be decent, he also mentioned the names of his previous teams that he doesn’t like as much.

“I mean, definitely one of the more original names I would say for a team (EG’s name). Because when I was in Mineski, I have no idea what Mineski meant… I could understand Fnatic like fanatic you know. So Evil Geniuses is one of the better ones. Think about DK man, I don’t even know what DK is. People are telling me, ‘Dota Kings.’ I am like, really? I am like... the Chinese though, would it be Dota Kings?

Scythe? I have no idea how Scythe came up. I really like the name, Zenith if anything. Zenith is definitely one of my favorites I guess in terms of team names."

Iceiceice was also savage in his response when he was asked if EG’s name was on top of this list or not - “I mean you can’t be higher than Zenith.”

Since iceiceice was being questioned by NA panelists, Andrew "Jenkins" Jenkins and Shannon "SUNSfan" Scotten, who are themselves popular for asking stupid questions in order to create a jolly atmosphere, the whole interview turned out to be quite interesting.

Even the Twitch chat seemed to be having a hearty laugh watching the interview.
