Faker to stand-in for Infamous Gaming

The organization announced Mandy’s departure, Pakazs’ role switch, and Faker’s inclusion to the squad through a Facebook post. The announcement came before the team’s match against Latam Defenders in the ongoing Movistar Liga Pro Gaming Season 8, which they eventually won 2-0.

Infamous Gaming’s updated roster:

  1. Crhistian "Pakazs" Savina

  2. Eliseo "Faker" Arancibia (stand-in)

  3. Mariano "Papita" Caneda

  4. Miquel "Michael-" Choque

  5. Christian "Accel" Cruz (captain)

Faker enjoyed decent success with the organization when he last played for them in 2020. The team secured several top-four finishes in the online tournament, with their best runs coming at BTS Pro Series Season 3: Americas and DOTA Summit 13 Online: Americas, where they finished in third place. He then parted ways with the organization in November 2020 to make space for Jean "Mr.Jeans" Natividad.

The SA player had a short-lived one-month stint with EgoBoys before joining Team 0-900 to compete in the SA 2021 DPC Season 1: Lower Division. However, the team was disqualified in the latter half of the league after it was discovered that one of their players was involved in betting on league matches.

They are currently competing in the Movistar Liga Pro Gaming Season 8 and have their next series scheduled against Hokori on March 17, 2021, in the upper bracket playoffs. A win in the tournament will likely cement the SA player's position in the squad and also give the team a confidence boost before heading into the second season of the DPC.
