- 23savage had stated on February 7 that he would be playing as the HOYO's carry for the remainder of SEA 2021 DPC Season 1: Lower Division.
- However, after playing a single series against Galaxy Racer on February 8, 23savage did not play for HOYO in their series against Army Geniuses earlier today.
- The Thai carry player has been without a team since the start of this year when he was removed from Vici Gaming's roster.
23savage recently announced that he would be playing as the carry for the SEA team, HOYO, for the remainder of the SEA 2021 DPC Season 1: Lower Division. Being without a team since the start of the 2021 DPC Season 1 on January 18, Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon’s return to competitive Dota 2 came in as a pleasant surprise for his fans. However, after playing just the single series against Galaxy Racer earlier this week, 23savage did not occupy the safe lane role for HOYO in their series earlier today. He also did not make any public announcements regarding this matter, on his social media handles.

23savage announced his entry into 2021 DPC Season 1 with HOYO
23savage has emerged as one of the most cherished SEA Dota 2 players in the past year. The Thai star carry player found himself stranded just before the start of the 2021 DPC Season 1 when it was revealed that he was no longer a part of the Vici Gaming roster.
However, on February 7, he stated that he would be the carry player for HOYO for the remainder of SEA 2021 DPC Season 1: Lower Division.
In the series against Galaxy Racer on February 8, 23savage occupied the safe lane position, causing Meracle who had been the carry until that point, to make a transition from the safe lane to the offlane. This was possible because Forev, their former offlaner, had announced at the beginning of February that he would not be competing with HOYO for personal reasons for the remainder of the 2021 DPC Season 1.

Unfortunately for HOYO, they were unable to close out the series against Galaxy Racer in their favor as they lost 2-1.
23savage did not play for HOYO earlier today
It looks like the loss against Galaxy Racer had an impact on 23savage’s participation in HOYO’s series against Army Geniuses earlier today as he did not play for the team. Meracle went back to the carry role while Thai player, Peerapat "Tigger" Butta, played as the offlaner.
Tigger had announced on February 9 that he would be the offlaner for the team in the ongoing tournament, Moon Studio New Year Showdown.
However, it was not known that he would be a part of the team in the DPC League as well.
