  • Ceb and co. have assembled at N0tail's mansion in Europe to bootcamp for the 2021 DPC Season 1. The only one missing is Topson who was denied entry at the airport because of travel restrictions.
  • OG are currently placed at the number three spot in the EU 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division with three wins and one loss after four series.

OG mainstay, Sébastien "Ceb" Debs, highlighted the importance of bootcamps for OG in a post-match winners’ interview. After the solid 2-1 series win over Team Nigma the previous night, Ceb, who had recently joined his team at the bootcamp location, stated that his team was able to connect and read each other in a better way when they played from the same place. He also mentioned that playing together put him in a very “Dota tempo” spot.

Although all team members have assembled in the bootcamp, Ceb stated that Topson was the only one missing because of some travel restrictions.

OG Ceb talks about the advantages of having this bootcamp

Despite getting crushed in the first game of the series against Nigma last night, OG showcased their classic “run at them” style of Dota in the next games to pull off two quick and dominating victories to win the series 2-1.

The two-time TI champions played the series from N0tail’s mansion in Europe where they have mustered for the remainder of the 2021 DPC Season 1.

After the win, Ceb talked about the bootcamp, mentioning that there was a stark difference between playing from homes and playing together from a bootcamp. Ceb stated that he felt a lot better with the fact that the whole team was going to play from the same place now, considering he played the first three series at his home.

“Oh for sure, it’s different in every aspect. [On being at bootcamp] We connect much more with each other, we are able to read each other better because we see each other, body language goes a long way. The hype also, of just being in a bootcamp place, you know like getting back into the Dota tempo- that works very well for me. All of it makes it very different. You know, it is like the intermediate step between being at home, being at bootcamp and being at LAN. So, you know, I’ll take bootcamp clearly.”

Ceb mentions that Topson was denied at the airport

Ceb also stated that all of OG’s squad had arrived at the bootcamp (N0tail’s mansion in Europe) except for Topson who, unfortunately, had been denied entry at the airport.

“I arrived basically yesterday. It’s good. We were planning to be all five together but unfortunately, Topson got denied at the airport because of some corona stuff. I mean, they needed additional tests, regulation change every day. You know, it happens but we are like almost all together. Me being here is another step towards reuniting so it’s always good.”
