A bug has been discovered by Dota 2 players in which an item is not available in the shop. Helm of the Dominator 2 which was incorporated into the game recently in patch 7.28 is seemingly not listed in the shop as an independent item. In order to buy the item, a player either needs to search for it in the shop or find it as an upgrade of the level 1 Helm of the Dominator item.

Helm of the Dominator item is not available in the shop
A Reddit user, u/Spikn, hilariously pointed out the unpopularity of Helm of the Dominator 2 as he made a thread on the same, titling it “The reason no one buys Helm of the Dominator Level 2 is because it isn't even in the shop.”
Apparently, the item has been turned a blind eye by Dota 2 players as it is one of the least picked ones in the game. Considering its high cost and no substantial improvement from the original Helm, the item has been ignored by professional players as well as it is hardly seen in a competitive game.
According to a statistic in patch 7.28 as per DotaBuff, Helm of the Dominator 2 is one of the least used items with a 0.03% use rate. It has only been used more times than Town Portal Scroll, Aghanim's Shard, Ring of Tarrasque, Aghanim's Blessing and Necronomicon (level 2) if we exclude the Neutral items.

Maybe if the item gets a proper listing in the shop, we could see players picking it up more often in their matches.
