Here Are The 8 Teams In The Lower Division of DPC-SEA 2021 S1

  • Eight out of 12 teams from Stage 2 of the closed qualifier that move to the Lower Division have been determined.
  • The Prime, Team Veteran, Army Geniuses and Team SMG have been knocked out the first season of SEA Regional League.
  • The Lower Division along with the Upper Division of SEA-DPC 2021 S1 begins on January 18.

The qualifiers of the DPC-SEA 2021 S1 have been done and dusted as the eight teams that will be qualifying to the Lower Division have now been determined. Four teams, each from Group A and B, in Stage 2 of the closed qualifier have booked a spot in the Lower Division while the bottom two in each group have been knocked out.

List Of 8 Teams Playing in the Lower Division of SEA DPC League 2021

The first season of the Regional League is set to begin in a week and we have found out our top eight teams that will be playing in the Lower Division in SEA.

Teams From Group A

1. Galaxy Racer

Galaxy Racer topped Group A with three wins and two draws in five series. 

Their roster for DPC 2021 S1:

  2. Vincent “AlaCrity” Hiew Teck Yoong
  3. Lee "kYxY" Kong Yang
  4. Adrian "Destrice" Eng
  5. Adam Erwann Shah "343" bin Akhtar Hussein

2. HOYO

HOYO took the second spot in Group A after three wins, one draw, and one loss after five series.

Their roster for DPC 2021 S1:

  1. Galvin "Meracle" Kang Jian
  2. Poomipat "Fearless" Trisiripanit
  3. Lee "Forev" Sang-don
  4. Tri "Jhocam" Kuncoro
  5. Anurat "boombell" Praianun

3. Cignal Ultra

Cignal Ultra finished at the number three spot in Group A with one win, three draws, and one loss after five series.

Their roster for DPC 2021 S1:

  1. Jae “Jae” Paulo, Coach (substitute for Denz Daryll "Abat" Anedez)
  2. James Cedrick "Jamesy" John
  3. Van Jerico "Van" Manalaysay
  4. Erice "Erice" Guerra

4. Lilgun

A relatively newer squad from Mongolia that came in as the last team from the open qualifier has delivered a strong performance to take the fourth and the last spot from Group B into the Lower Division. They drew four series and lost one.

Teams From Group B

1. Omega Esports

One of the strongest teams to make it to the Lower Division, Omega Esports topped Group B with three wins and two draws in five series.

  3. Jun “Bok” Kanehara
  4. Marvin “Boombacs” Rushton
  5. Bryle “cml” Alviso

2. Assault

An open qualifier team that surprised everybody with a string of crisp performances is Assault. They had two wins, two draws and one loss after five series and took second place in Group B.

  5. Rayy

3. Yangon Galacticos

The squad from Myanmar was quite impressive as they had the same number of points as Assault with two draws and one loss after five series.

4. ZeroTwo

inYourdreaM’s stack had to play a tie-breaker against Army Geniuses to secure a spot in the Lower Division. They finished in fourth place with one win, two draws, and two losses after five series.

The Prime and Team Veteran from Group A and Army Geniuses and Team SMG from Group B are eliminated from the SEA-DPC 2021 S1. With both the Lower as well as the Upper Division now set, some top-notch and high tempo action in the SEA region is going to begin on January 18 when the Main Regional League begins.
