Virtus.pro seems to be on a roll at the moment as their players are excelling both, as a team and on an individual level. In a piece of very intriguing news, carry player for the Russian squad, Egor "epileptick1d" Grigorenko has achieved 11K MMR on his second account.
The Dota 2 community is getting to know more about the potential new kings of the CIS region as their carry player, epileptick1d, has achieved a feat that no other Dota 2 player has ever done. He has become the first player to achieve 11K MMR on two separate accounts.
epileptick1d who achieved this landmark for the first time on August 27, 2020, has done it for the second time becoming both the 4th and the 14th player in the list of 11K MMR players.
Virtus.pro shared the achievement of their prodigy through a Tweet.
epileptick1d who was introduced to the professional Dota 2 scene by the organization of Virtus.pro in September 2019 rose to he ranks rapidly as he delivered some stunning carry performances consistently. He made a couple of switches between the Virtus.pro and VP.Prodigy squads of the organization before they eventually shut down the latter and put together a single team comprising of all the young guns.
Aged just 18, the Russian under one of the most iconic esports organizations in the CIS has been able to amass nearly $100,000 in prize money. gpk and epileptick1d are two players in the Virtus.pro squad who have reached the milestone of 11K MMR. epileptick1d’s smurf account currently stands at the number two spot in the Leaderboards charts while gpk is placed at the eight position.
A total of 14 players form a part of this star list.
Virtus.pro’s renovated set of the best young minds in the CIS region has been the talking point in the Dota 2 community for the last two months now. Their admirable run to emerge as the champions of EPIC League and the hard work put behind it in the form of six pubs a day hint at their diligence and perseverance.
epileptick1d especially seems to be following a routine of ‘Eat Sleep Dota Repeat’ considering his personal milestones.
