Evil Geniuses (EG) has officially signed Singaporean offlaner Daryl Koh "iceiceice" Pei Xiang to complete its Dota 2 roster, the organization announced today.

The announcement follows Evil Geniuses announcement earlier this week which saw CIS player Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev depart from the NA team. The SEA legend has not played competitively since August 2020, when he took a break from competitive play.

Iceiceice spent almost two years with Fnatic and also played for other SEA teams such as Faceless and Mineski, following his return to the SEA servers after a three-year stint in Chinese teams.

This is the first time Iceiceice will play in a North American Dota 2 team (or any Western Dota 2 team for that matter). The player also reunites with Abed “Abed” Azel L. Yusop with whom he played in the 2018-19 DPC season in Fnatic.

Hence Evil Geniuses’ Current Dota 2 Roster:

  • Artour "Arteezy" Babaev
  • Abed “Abed” Azel L. Yusop
  • Daryl Koh "iceiceice" Pei Xiang
  • Andreas Franck "Cr1t-" Nielsen
  • Tal "Fly" Aizik

Evil Geniuses have signed one of the most experienced Dota 2 players in the market, bringing in over 15 years of experience as well as some Southeast Asian flavor to the side. EG is currently not scheduled to compete in any upcoming Dota 2 tournament. So, unfortunately, it looks like fans will have to wait for quite a while before we can see the team in action.
