Team Vitality faced a substantial amount of hate from the crowd present at the Royal Arena during BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2021.
One of the primary reasons behind this was the fact that Vitality defeated the home favorites Astralis, twice at the event, which also resulted in their elimination.
ZywOo while talking about the incident said that he was personally not affected by any of it and simply doesn't care if the crowd is against him or his team.

Team Vitality had a great run through the BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2021, ending the LAN tournament as the runners-up following a '2-1' loss against NAVI in the grand finals. However, the crowd present at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark was not too happy with the French juggernaut dominating Astralis at the event.

Vitality first took down Astralis in the upper bracket, followed by another defeat being handed to them in the lower bracket, eliminating them from the event. The whole encounter did not fair well with the Danish crowd, the majority of whom were supporting the home favorites Astralis.

Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut in an interview with Dexerto shared how he, Dan "apEX" Madesclaire, and Richard "shox" Papillon dealt with all the hate and the boos from the crowd during the match, whether it had any effect on their performance, and more.

Vitality did not have it easy in Copenhagen, Denmark while competing at the BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2021. They faced a substantial amount of hate from the crowd present at the LAN tournament, as they were the lucky ones to go up against the home favorites - Astralis, not once but twice.

While apEX enjoyed receiving the hate during Vitality's lower bracket final match against Astralis, ZywOo kept his calm letting his performance do all the talking. Speaking on the incident later he goes on to say that,

I don't care like, I am here to play against the world. I don't care if the crowd is against me or against the team (Vitality), I don't care.

Even after Vitality had defeated Astralis for the second time in the tournament by a score of '2-0', the crowd booed shox during the pos-match interview. Speaking on this ZywOo said that,

Yeah, it was strange. I don't know why they do that to shox. He is a good teammate and he does not deserve that, so I don't know why they do it.

British host and commentator, Alex "Machine" Richardson, who was hosting the post-match interview even stood up for shox against the crowd. He told the crowd to show character when their home team loses, to respect the opponent and cheer for them the same way they would have done for their own team.

One thing for sure was that, all the booing and hate did not have any affect Vitality's performance as they eliminated Astralis from the tournament, serving them two defeats within the same event.
