This particular AK-47 Case Hardened is one-of-a-kind due to its weapon type, float value, and design pattern. All of these features make it one of the most unique skins to exist in CS2, skyrocketing its value which is estimated to be worth around the million-dollar mark.
AK-47 Blue Gem: Exclusive CS2 Skin Worth Around $1 Million Appears After 10 Years
There are a lot of skins in CS2 and their value depends on multiple factors like weapon type, float value, design pattern, and more.
As a rule of thumb, all Case Hardened skins are considered to be of good value as they are one of the most unusual weapon finishes to exist in the game.
Now, within the Case Hardened design, there are different patterns and two of the most exclusive ones are Blue Gems and Gold Gems, signifying the maximum possible amount of blue or gold in the design which makes them very rare and expensive.
The AK-47 Case Hardened which was discovered on 15th January by OhnePixel, skin expert and owner of SkinBid, is a Blue Gem that appeared on a Chinese skin trading website called Buff on 4th January.
It is the only one to exist in CS2 due to the following features that make it unique and exclusive.
Weapon Skin: AK-47
Weapon Finish: Case Hardened
Weapon Type: Factory New
Design Pattern: #661
Float Value: 0.04827452823519707

Originally, AK-47 Case Hardened, weapon skin was added to Counter-Strike on 14th August 2013 along with the first-ever case introduced to the game called The Arms Deal Collection, which is considered to be one of the biggest updates in the history of the game.
According to Dexerto, there are multiple similar skins, AK-47 Case Hardened StatTrak 661 Pattern, but in Minimal Wear condition. As for Factory New, this seems to be the only one satisfying all the requirements.
Due to its nature of mythical rarity, AK-47 Case Hardened StatTrak Factory New 661 Pattern, is valued somewhere between $800,000 to $1,000,000 USD, as per skin expert OhnePixel.
If the above valuation is considered to be true, it will make this CS2 skin the second most expensive in the world, right after the prized Karambit Case Hardened Factory New 387 Pattern, which is yet another single piece Blue Gem with an estimated value of over $1.5 Million.
A couple of years back, someone had decided to purchase this impossibly rare knife skin but the $1.4 Million offer was turned down.
At this point, not much is known about the owner of this AK-47 Case Hardened StatTrak Factory New 661 Pattern. One thing that can be said for sure is that whenever any of these skins are sold it would definitely make headlines!
