Extremely Rare CS:GO Knife Allegedly Costs More Than 1.2 Million Euros

An extremely rare CS:GO knife is allegedly estimated to cost more than $1.2 Million EUR which is roughly about $1.4 Million USD.
The extremely rare CS:GO skin is a variant of the Karambit Case Hardened Knife which is also referred to as 'The Blue Gem'.
If the knife is sold for the estimated cost or more, it could become the most expensive CS:GO skin in the world.

CS:GO skins and cosmetics are known to reach absurd prices based on various factors like rarity, float value, quantity, and many other variables. However, there is a knife in Counter-Strike that has the potential to make any other prior skin price seem insignificant, no matter how high their value was.

It might seem hard to believe, but an extremely rare variant of the Karambit Case Hardened Knife is estimated to cost more than 1,200,000 EUR, which is roughly about $1,412,820 USD. The valuation was showcased by popular CS:GO skin trader and YouTuber ohnePixel, who is acting as a middleman in the sale for this knife skin.

If the Karambit knife in question manages to sell for such a high price, it will officially become the most valuable and expensive CS:GO skin in the world.

Ultra rare Karambit Case Hardened Knife variant might be the most expensive CS:GO skin in the world

Information about this extremely rare knife variant surfaced in August earlier this year. At that point in time ohnePixel had estimated that, if the owner of that Karambit Case Hardened Knife ever decided to sell it, the price of the skin would be around $800,000 USD.

Well, it turns out that the estimate was off by a huge margin, as an update by ohnePixel alleged that the selling price of the unique knife was well more than $1,400,000 USD, according to the owner of the virtual skin - Newb Rage.

It seems ohnePixel was approached by an interested buyer who wanted to purchase the one of a kind Karambit knife skin. As the buyer was unable to reach out to Newb Rage himself, he sought out ohnePixel's help to forward his offer of 1,200,000 EUR in Bitcoin for the knife skin.

However, this offer was turned down by Newb Rage who claimed the amount to be low. When asked for the buyout price that he had in mind, there was no reply from the owner of the knife skin.

The Karambit Case Hardened Knife in discussion is in Factory New condition, has a Wear Rating of 0.0480, and the Pattern Template 387. This makes it one of the rarest knife skins in CS:GO as it literally appears completely blue on one side, earning it the name 'The Blue Gem'.

Newb Rage had apparently purchased the knife five years ago for about $100,000 USD and since then its value has grown exponentially. At the time of writing this article, the sale of the knife has not been confirmed so despite it being valuable it is tough to pinpoint its true value.
