Sdy Set to Compete With NAVI CS:GO Team at IEM Cologne 2022
The Ukrainian organization is all set to conquer Cologne!
Natus Vincere (NAVI) confirms Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev as the fifth and final player to complete its CS:GO roster for the upcoming IEM Cologne 2022. The reigning champion will be looking forward to defending its throne successfully, with sdy already having proved himself once as the missing piece that could complete this NAVI makeover.
This is not the first time that the 25-year-old will be part of the Ukrainian esports organization, as he previously played with them at the recently concluded BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022, where the revamped NAVI lineup was crowned as the champion, winning its first tournament of the 2022 competitive season.
Sdy all set to compete with NAVI at the IEM Cologne 2022
NAVI is ready with its CS:GO lineup for the challenge that awaits them in Cologne, adding sdy once again to its lineup for a second tournament in a row. The Ukrainian rifler did prove himself during his last outing with the team at BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022.
Sdy had an overall HLTV rating of 1.02 across a total of 12 maps, along with a +11 K/D, while playing a totally different role than what he usually takes up in a team. It was definitely a worthy performance from sdy which seems to have caught NAVI's attention.
However, no final call has been made about his signing and he is being loaned once again by MAD Lions for free. He is once again being tested out before the organization goes forward with a final call on the matter.
NAVI looked in top shape at Spring Finals, despite an early knockdown the team came back strong to lift the trophy in Lisbon, Portugal. IEM Cologne 2022 is going to be a whole different ballgame with the level of competition on a truly high level and the pressure will be on NAVI as they are the defending champions.
The complete NAVI lineup for IEM Cologne 2022 is as follows,
Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev
Valerii “b1t” Vakhovskiy
Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev
Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy
Denis “electronic” Sharipov
Andrii “B1ad3” Gorodenskyi [Coach]
