Perfecto Praises ElectroNic's IGL Skills, Talks About Sdy's Future in NAVI
Undefeated so far at IEM Cologne 2022.
Natus Vincere (NAVI) has had a successful run so far at the IEM Cologne 2022, directly qualifying for the semifinals by going undefeated through the group stage.
Despite facing an abrupt roster shuffle right after the PGL Antwerp Major 2022, NAVI has not lost its touch entirely and has found a great player in Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev, who has now played as a stand-in for the side across two CS:GO tournaments.
Talking about sdy's position and future with NAVI, Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy, revealed that it is something which has not been discussed so far because the team has been entirely focussed on the tournament at hand.
He also spoke about Denis "electroNic" Sharipov, praising the 23-year-old's efforts at leading the team and the way he has taken over the reins to continue finding success for the side.
Perfecto talks about position of sdy in NAVI and praises the way electroNic has commanded them
It is not an easy task to stand-in for a team like NAVI, especially when they are on the top of their game. Ukrainian rifler sdy was handed such an opportunity and he seized it with complete dedication, showcasing his skills across two huge CS:GO tournaments and doing a seemingly great job at it.
However, this has still not guaranteed him a permanent position on NAVI, at least not yet. During a recent interview with HLTV, Perfecto pointed out that the team has not discussed about sdy's future so far.
"As you can see, he (sdy) is still playing with us (NAVI), this means we are looking for something long-term. This is something the team will have to discuss after the event is done." stated Perfecto.
As for the new shotcaller, electroNic has adapted quickly to this role of being the team's IGL (In-Game Leader), exceeding expectations and giving everyone a taste of his own style which is more reactive and fast paced.
With nothing but praise for the new captain, Perfecto remarked that "electroNic probably has one of the best visions of the game. His vision of the game is so wide that he can make calls on the go, the team can just follow them, and they will work."
Both departments of concern have been care of in a perfect manner. NAVI seems to have done a great job of making the right moves and have prevented the momentum they had build last year from getting completely derailed.
