The new Eternal Fire CS:GO team comes together just before the summer player break giving them ample time to practice for upcoming tournaments.

One of the strongest CS:GO teams from Turkey, Eternal Fire, underwent a massive roster shuffle on 12th July with multiple veterans joining the squad after stepping back from competitive Valorant.

The player-owned esports organization has moved its entry fragger, Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç, to the inactive roster and replaced him with the experienced, Ahmet "paz" Karahoca, who returns to compete in CS:GO after more than eight months.

Additionally, the team has further bolstered its lineup with the addition of a new coach, Canpolat "hardstyle" Yildiran. Hardstyle has returned to CS:GO following a short stint in Valorant and shall be replacing Timur "bishop" Şengül.

Eternal Fire announces new CS:GO lineup: Paz and Harsdtyle quit Valorant to join the team

Just a few days after the signing of Engin "MAJ3R" Küpeli, who joined the team as a replacement for Buğra "Calyx" Arkın, Eternal Fire has undergone a couple more changes.

The Turkish organization has particularly got a new coach and an entry fragger, with xfl0ud being replaced by paz and bishop being replaced by hardstyle. With the heavily experienced veterans from the region coming into the side, Eternal Fire is starting to look like a whole different team.

Similar to MAJ3R, both paz and hardstyle had left professional CS:GO in October last year, getting picked up as a team in January 2022 by a Turkish esports organization based in Istanbul called Digital Atheletics.

Despite their best efforts the team failed to produce significant results at the VRL 2022 Turkey: Birlik Stage 2 - Closed Qualifier, which resulted in the organization dropping the entire roster on 5th July.

Statement by paz on leaving Valorant

Now, the three players have returned to compete in CS:GO once again under the banner of Eternal Fire right before the summer player break. This gives them ample time to mesh together as a unit and prepare for their upcoming tournaments - ESL Pro League Season 16 and IEM Rio Major 2022.

The revamped Eternal Fire CS:GO roster is as follows,

  • İsmailcan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş

  • Özgür "woxic" Eker

  • Ömer "imoRR" Karataş

  • Ahmet "paz" Karahoca

  • Engin "MAJ3R" Küpeli - IGL

  • Canpolat "hardstyle" Yildiran - Coach
